A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.
LANGUAGE LEARNING DOESN’T HAVE TO BE TEDIOUS
Rote memorization of vocabulary and hundreds of hours spent listening to audiobooks and podcasts is mind-numbing, and for many, isn’t even an effective way to learn language. Just as we picked up our native languages naturally by communicating with our parents in contextual situations (learning about foods while we ate, and about vehicles while on the road) it’s much easier when there’s an exchange.
Whether it’s for school, business, travel, or pure cultural interest, there is no downside to adding another language to your list of capabilities, and we’re making it much easier than traditional language learning programs.
IMMERSEME’S LANGUAGE IMMERSION PRINCIPLE
The reason why one of the fastest ways to pick up another language is to move to a country where it’s widely spoken, is because of the principle of language immersion.
Unlike traditional programs where the language is simply a subject to be learned, language immersion focuses more on language as a tool, and the more often you use it, the better you become.
Of course, we’re not recommending you move halfway across the world. Instead, we’re bringing language immersion to your office, classroom, and the comfort of your own home, and all you need is a laptop or PC with a good internet connection.
VIRTUAL WORLD, REAL CONVERSATIONS
Virtual worlds aren’t just for videos and games. The realistic interactions that computer-generated scenarios make possible provides users with the kind of immersive environment that can make education, particularly language learning, far more effective.
CHANGING THE LANGUAGE LEARNING LANDSCAPE
Our multi-platform, multi-user 3D application servers allow us to construct a variety of different virtual environments where players can build and test their vocabulary based on context. Each environment is a separate unit, and teachers can use role-playing with students to attract more highly involved participation.
Different story units thus far include:
Virtual Macau free tour
Chinese restaurant tour
Luxury sea holidays
Curiosity Coffee Bar
In basic level, students can learn vocabulary by recognizing 3D object in our zoo and garden. This deepens the impression when you see the actual thing around thereby building your vocabulary to a far more advanced and effective state.
For higher level students, we have virtual sceneries in Macau and London city centre. Our tutors will be role-playing with you to assist as you navigate the cities, introduce different culture and story. You can start from the practice order coffee in cafe with waiter, or going to a shopping mall to buy items with seller and practice how to bargain the price in the shop.
Students can practice the language of their choice in different situations with the appropriate scenery, correct their vocabulary and pronunciations before entering a new level. Two-way communication is also provided to allow exchanging of ideas between students in two directions and fully mobilize their enthusiasm and initiative capitalizing on the biggest benefits of teaching and learning.
Our software engages the senses to bring students as close to real life experiences as possible.
OUR CAMPAIGN GOALS
Our current beta version of the software only focuses on Mandarin Chinese and English, and we’ll be expanding into other languages after launch. For now, the funding raised from this campaign will be used to:
Train and set up a foreign tutor team to guide users.
Design and create more storylines and virtual education materials, also expand our development team and delegate persons to a section focused on integration with virtual reality.
While a VR device is not necessary to use our software, our goal is to work towards a front end compatible with all VR device, by the end of 2018.
Please check out our reward tier, where you can get huge discounts and special in-game items at a discounted price. Perks will be redeemable upon the official launch.
MEET THE WORLDBUILDERS
Melanie Thielker – Joined the project in 2016 as Resource Integration manager. Melanie has been developing virtual world systems since 2006, participated in multiple virtual world projects over a decade, and made significant contributions to the core processes of the of our own development. In 2010, she helped establish the world’s second-largest commercial virtual platform, Avination, that peaked at 10,000 active monthly users with over 100,000 registered.

Risks and challenges
Our beta is already complete, and our team is fully capable of handling the rest of the stages needed to get us to launch. Our biggest risk right now is to lose out on this opportunity at a very critical point in education-based VR development.
You will receive our virtual scenarios wall paper and update info in email, we will also send you other new virtual scenarios wall paper in future.
You also able to book a time for the trial lesson. Our tutor will guide you explore different fancy scenarios and introduce different storylines, and you can try the trial lesson in the Virtual Macau scenarios with one on one service for 1.5 hour.
Everything above plus you can book 5 more lessons after the first trial. You will able to experience the full storyline for Virtual Macau scenarios. After the course you will able to book a bonus trial lesson in new storyline scenarios. Each lesson will take 90 mins.
You also will get a limited edition outfit for your avatar.
Everything above plus you can book 10 more lessons after the first trial. You will able to experience the full storyline for Virtual Macau scenarios and virtual London scenarios. After the course you will able to book a bonus trial lesson in new storyline scenarios. Each lesson will take 90 mins.
Except limited edition outfit for your avatar, you also can get a special skin for your avatar that base on a picture you provide to us, so it mean the avatar will look like you or anything you can imagine!
