The End is Nearing

Posted by Mike Driscoll (Creator)

First off I want to apologize for not writing my usual update last week. I got caught up with other things and just didn't get it done. Anyway, I did finish up chapter 17 and am currently pushing that out. I am also working on the last chapter, which is about an alternative to ReportLab called PyFPDF. I am going to do my best not to let that chapter blow up into something huge.

Anyway, I am hoping to get that done in the next few days and then I will get the ISBN registered and go through the book and fix the things that my readers have mentioned to me that I just haven't gotten to yet. Once all of that is done, I will try to go through the book and look for other obvious errors. If you would like to help, please let me know ASAP.

Once all of that is done, I plan to order the paperbacks so I can start getting those ready to ship. The t-shirts are already on order and should be here soon.

Finally I am doing a talk on Python Decorators at a local code conference called Nebraska.Code / PrairieCode, so if you happen to be going to that, feel free to say "hi!".

I will probably have another update soon assuming this last chapter comes together smoothly.

Thanks so much for your support!
