Two of the best up-and-coming singer/songwriters in Memphis, TN, have banded together to take the world by storm. With the entertaining charisma of Andrew Cabigao and the energetic prowess of Taylor Bothwell, the duo can’t help but radiate their colossal new sound. Andrew, drawing from the influences of John Mayer and the Black Keys, and Taylor, influenced by Miranda Lambert, Pink and Shania Twain, their sound can be described as pop/indie/country/rock.
Funding for Sunburnt Moon's Any Other Way EP project will provide professional recording studio time, mixing, mastering and production of the CD itself, as well as merchandise and promotional material for marketing the CD. Oh and there will be CD release party too! Everyone loves a party! Boom.
Performing together for more than a year now, first in each others bands and then as a duo, Andrew and Taylor have finally decided it's time to give the fans what they've been asking for: a Sunburnt Moon CD. The pair have also been getting noticed by record label development departments, film companies and larger venues and need high quality recordings to best represent them. This project is your chance to be a part of their musical journey! Kickstarter is an all or nothing venture so we need our full goal to be reached to received the funds for the project! Your pledge will only be charged to your account if we reach our funding goal. And going over the funding goal is allowed too! Additional funding will allow us to add more songs to the CD or more insturmental tracks to the finished product.
As a solo act, Andrew’s acoustic guitar and soulful voice have created a big buzz in the Memphis music scene for over five years now. Phillip Beasley, Past - President of the Memphis Songwriter’s Association (MSA), swears by him and proclaims, “Each time I see him perform, I become more and more convinced that he is the next big thing out of Memphis,” and Taylor, who presently has several songs under consideration for a film project, has been performing publically since the age of 13 and was recently introduced by the Executive Director of Nashville Songwriters Association International as "the hardest working young songwriter since Shania Twain".
Together they have played numerous venues in Memphis, Nashville, Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, and New Smyrna Beach, Florida during the last year and now ready to take on the world!
