A Tactical war game in Egypt's 18th dynasty. take control of ancient warriors empowered by the gods, battle enemies and their armies.
The Sun Cult has taken over Egypt, imprisoning most of the gods of old in obelisk's to steal their powers
and rule the land in their stead. Toth, God of wisdom and magic, has sought out the remaining gods that are free of the Sun Cult, to take back what they have stolen.
Toth's mortal followers who fought against the Sun Cult, were pushed back, then scattered. The Sun Cult has destroyed the remaining gods temples, to weaken them.
In an act of desperation Toth has called on Yah, a fickle yet powerful god of the moon, who controls the moon calendar. To join their fight against the Sun Cult, and to Toth's surprise Yah agrees,with these conditions: only if the free gods choose mortal champions to wield their powers.The gods seal themselves away from the humans until the conflict is over, and Yah chooses the human to lead their armies.
Reluctantly Toth and the rest of the gods agree, giving their amulets of power to their champions.
Yah much to the other gods disappointment choose a human heretic as his champion and told them that this mortal would lead the humans against the Sun Cult. This heretic Yah calls The Wanderer.
The Wanderer whose clan in the past, angered the gods, and for their punishment the gods stole away their true names. Turning them into no more than living corpses. They could no longer age, they could no longer eat, drink, feel, or think, and with out their names they could no longer die. Their clan became nothing more then empty shells, all but one. One heretic who walked out of his village one day and roamed the desert lost and empty.
Yah offered to restore his name to him if he became his champion and destroyed the Sun Cult.
He agreed, and gave his amulet to the Wanderer.
Eternal Wanderer has two types of game play.
The tactics game play allows players to make their characters and use them on a turn based grid against an opponent. Players use characters skills and abilities to bring down enemies.
In war campaigns players take their characters from the tactic battles and use them as generals in war each general controls several units of characters of the same class to fight the Sun Cults armies.
There are many different classes to choose from in Eternal Wanderer
all with unique special ability for each class, that can be used in tactic battles and wars.
All physical rewards will be shipped a few months after the end of the campaign. The digital copy of the game will be available when the game is finished, with digital in game items and weapons for backers .
Backers who choose cards get five, each with exclusive art and information about characters or items.
The digital version of the game will be sent to backers when its finished. Eternal Wanderer will definitely be on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
But we hope we will be able to make a PS3, and Xbox version. if we do backers will have these two option to choose from when game is finished.
We will send backers an exclusive Eternal Wanderer poster.
Backers get a 14" x 16" Eternal Wanderer draw string backpack.
Backers will get an exclusive Silk Laminated 3.5" x 4" concept art
Digital download with game. Get large quantity of items and treasure to heal you from units in battle as well as boost their stats, and all other basic needs for the army.
These weapons are unique in their own way because they are able to level up and grow with characters. Backers will be given one growth weapon for each class. Each weapon when fully leveled will be the strongest class weapons in the game.
Backers will receive a custom 17 oz. stainless steel Eternal Wanderer vacuum sealed thermos with carrying case.
Currently the Models, texture, gameplay, story, animation, and programming are all being done by me. I’m proud of the work I managed to do by myself these last three months, to build this. Sure I could have made the models better, worked on the animation more. However I feel that Eternal Wanderer conception is far enough that the project will be funded.
When funded I can afford a team to build this Game and ensure the project will be completed on time.
Risks and challenges
The largest risk in video game creation is falling behind, and not meeting deadlines.
To over comes these I plan on using strong management skills, clear mile stones, and using a strong team that can work together to overcome obsticals.
