Victorian Fantasy Playing Cards Status

Posted by Ruth Miller (Creator)

60 backers
$1,595 pledged of $9,675 goal
ONLY 12 days to go

There were 263 backers of the Fairy Tale Art playing cards, but so far only 60 for this one.

If this project is going to happen I really need your help in spreading the word. Would you please post a link to this project on your Facebook page or pin one of the images on pinterest or tweet a link back to this project? And if you can do that please do it as soon as you can.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

12 days is not a lot of time and we're only about 16% to goal. If you could post on card collector sites or let your friends who are passionate about card collecting know about this project we'll get closer to the goal. We'll want to be more than 50% to goal before the last few days, so those new to this project who see it will soon end will know that the project will likely meet its goal.

Mossy on over to the Victorian Art Playing Cards project page for more information in the coming days. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1062097493/victorian-fantasy-playing-cards-and-art-gifts-0

Right now I'm working on modifying the suit pips and letters. I'm going to remove the beveled "3D" effect (first image). I haven't decided yet whether to leave the image of the head from the king or do some faint design. I'll post more images and another update in a couple of days. I'll have more art for another one of the other suits and some new designs for the pips too.

Please let me know your ideas about getting the word out. Thank you!

Ruth

I have unsubscribed. Unfortunately, I was out of town this weekend, and got 4 more spam messages after you were already asked to stop, before I was able to fix my settings.

Ozymadias, You have been asked to unsubscribe from these updates. Please do so. Kickstarter is aware that my husband is running the Victorian Fantasy project with me. Please unsubscribe from all of my project updates and save yourself some grief. If you don;t want to receive the updates why would you want to stay on the updates list? That makes no sense.

There is a link at the bottom of the email you received to unsubscribe. it reads, " Unsubscribe from this project's updates with one click "
If you don't happen to have the update email any more, you can also unsubscribe (and opt back in) by clicking on "Me" at the top of the page, select "Edit settings" and then the "Notifications" tab: a bit of a trudge but this does show a list of *all* your projects and you can then opt out of any or all of them in one go.

Spam reported. This is in violation of Kickstarter policies. You are not supposed to be advertising other projects like this. It's fine to overlook one update telling backers you started a new project, but this is excessive. If you have backers that wish to be informed of future projects like this, it is time to start a mailing list for that off-topic chatter.

      Grumpy,

Why didn't you just unsubscribe from the updates? Sorry - but others asked me to post to the previous backers. To you it may be spam, to others it isn't. Please unsubscribe from these updates. There is a link at the bottom of the email you received to unsubscribe. it reads, " Unsubscribe from this project's updates with one click "

I'll also ask how I can unsubscribe you if you are having trouble doing so.

      Ruth
