Recently I've been working with Michael Ensly to design a Bee Shotgun... No, that's not a typo.
The bees track the fruit, head towards the nearest one and do damage to it.
Working on the bees has lead to many interesting bugs... Which come to think of it is pretty ironic seeing as bees are insects... Anyway, here are some of my favourites.
- As mentioned in the video, the bees would break the fruit, then hover around all of the little bits of fruit.
- I set the bees mass too high and damage too low, so the bees flew up to the fruit, hit it, chased it and hit it again. This lead to the bits of fruit zig-zagging in mid air as the bees carried them around the screen.
I may just have to make update on bee bugs alone...
With 4 days and 39% funding left to go it looks like we're going to have a race to the finish! So, I'd really appreciate any help you guys can give with spreading the word.
Let's keep the ideas coming too!
P.S. I'll try to squeeze in a final new weapon update in before the deadline.
