"The keyboard itself is just 5mm thick and weighs only 200g, yet manages to squeeze in a backlight and the ability to switch between up to three devices." -- 9to5Mac
Do you need a great mobile keyboard for your busy lifestyle? We do and that's why we created Libre, the thinnest backlit keyboard in the world. Our approach is to make it as thin and light as possible while including all the features that we want.
Built for mobile typing
A mobile keyboard has to be easy to type on and carry. Libre keyboard offers excellent feedback and weighs just 200 grams.
Whether you are on a plane or in a dark room, a backlight is a handy feature for situations where light is low and you want to type discretely. Libre offers 4 different light levels that allow you to work in various lighting conditions without disrupting others.
A good keyboard should be easy to carry and not add much bulk. The Libre keyboard is measured at just 9mm thick, making it the thinnest backlit keyboard on the market for iPad.
We love our iPads, and we use them for both work and fun everywhere we go. So we created a folio set that compliments Libre keyboard that offers convenience and protection.
Easy to Customize
Everyone has their own favorite way of setting up their iPad. Libre's 3-piece, easy to attach keyboard allows you to use Libre in any way you want.
Secure Magnetic Attachment
Libre uses a super-strong magnet for ensuring the attachment between the keyboard and case is strong. The self-fitting magnetic slots make it easy and secure.
The cover also automatically wakes up iPad when open.
Multiple Bluetooth Profiles
Many of us have more than 1 device that could use a Bluetooth keyboard, so we designed Libre to take care of that. Libre can handle up to 3 different Bluetooth devices.
Accidents happen and we don't want them to ruin your day. If you spill liquid on Libre, just wipe it off and keep working.
To achieve the features we wanted while keeping the keyboard thin, we needed a material that was both light and durable. We selected polyurethane as the material to achieve a level of thinness and weight that is simply not possible with leather.
Libre works for for iPad air 1 and 2. There is a slight difference between those 2 models please let us know your selection when pledging.
Artists at Pets Rock love our keyboard idea so much that they are okay with us using two of their most popular characters GG and Pop.
We need to reach 30K funding goal to have enough quantity to make this feasible. Please support and share Libre keyboard project.

Risks and challenges
We feel strongly about Libre’s likelihood of success because we already have a working prototype and have strong experience with keyboard products. At the same time, we feel the need to let our backers know that every hardware project is susceptible to supply chain delays, design revision and other production related issues. However, we will do our best to overcome any obstacles and keep you updated.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
