A 20-day campaign for two games from Dr. Finn's Games. Back one or both of these games from the designer of Biblios and Herbaceous.
by Dr. Finn's Games
Oh, I'm sorry to read this update. I love your interesting games, especially because of the option to play them in a good solo-mode. I hope that you come back with both games and then I will add the flowershop. Shipping games to Germany is expensive, so I loved the two-(with flowershop three-)game-shipping Kickstarter.
@ Tom: Scroll down the front page of the campaign, you'll find links to BGG to all of his back catalog of games where you can find out a lot of information, watch play throughs, and read reviews and stuff.
The information has a big red banner with the title: "About Dr. Finn's Games" sort of near the bottom.
Sorry to hear this. I hope to see Waters of Nereus and Cosmic Run Regeneration back again in the future and successfully fund. I'll always have a look at your solo-friendly games.
@ Murr: I am in the same situation, and completely agree with you.
Sorry to hear this. I'll take the budget reprieve, and look forward to the relaunches.
Disappointing news. I'm not familiar with your back catalog. I couldn't find any information on your campaign page about those other games. If your goal is to sell them as add-ons, please consider adding sections in your next campaign promoting them. I thought perhaps you threw them in to get rid of a few extras you had.
This made me smile a little saying that you couldn't compete with Batman, and I was thinking. I must be one of just a handful that aren't backing Batman so I could back this instead. I'd much rather have a well done Dr. Finn game over a game full of enough plastic to make a prosthetic leg.
I'm subscribed so I'll be waiting around for the next one, and if you're doing more conventions, maybe I'll get to meet you at Dice Tower Con this year!
This is so bittersweet for me. As one of your ~200 "instaback" fans, I am distraught that I won't get both these games any time soon, especially since they're both solo-friendly. But I also understand life and you've gotta do what you've gotta do. And at the risk of sounding crass, this cancellation does help my pocketbook a bit. So I wish you a wistful adieu pour maintenant, mon ami. Bon chance in all you do; I'll be waiting for the next round.
I am almost an insta backer for Dr Finns. I have everything except the flower shop. Including Foragers and COG.
Hang in there.
Thank you for what you do.
I'm sad to see it go and I'll wait for the happy returns. :) Your games always seem solid, and it is much easier for me to pull out a short or medium-length game than the giant games that take an hour just to set up.
I've seen double campaigns in the past and I think they've always been a mistake. The good of having the possibility of savings from combined shipping seems to be outweighed by the additional coordination problems between two production runs.
