Three Pairs of Pants (TPoP) is heading into the studio to record its debut album. The four members of TPoP will be working with a local DC studio team to produce an album of TPoP originals, including Fiolent, Much Finer, How it Will Be and others. After more than a year of playing venues throughout the DC-metro area, the band is heading into the studio and will not emerge until we have a polished sound to share with all of you. More support means more recording time and more tracks to share with the world!
In order to make this dream a reality, we need to raise at least $1,000 to cover studio time and production costs. Funds in excess of this amount will also go toward the production of more tracks for the album, cover art and the improvement in the development of the final album (i.e. liner notes etc...).
Founded in 2010, Three Pairs of Pants (TPoP) is a DC-based musical group which fuses elements of folk, rock, bluegrass and other styles to create a unique blend of sounds. Over the last 12 months TPoP has had the unique privilege of teaming up with other local acts such as the Riverbreaks, the North Country and Brulee to contribute to the vibrant and diverse DC music scene!
Three Pairs of Pants consists of:
Anne Middleton - lead vocals and bass
Neela Rajendra - violin and vocals
Mike Shanley - lead guitar
John Mackedon - rhythm guitar and harmonica
