International Day of Peace is 9/21. We create Celebrations & Broadcasts in Times Square 9/15, Central Park 9/20 & Cadman Plaza/Brooklyn War Memorial 9/21. We support those doing Good by helping others live peacefully.
Brooklyn, NY – www.goodnewsplanet.com will broadcast celebrations to strengthen the message for International Day of Peace in Times Square, Central Park, and Brooklyn War Memorial. 193 UN Countries have agreed, 610 Million are aware of the day (McKinsey & Company); corporations & individuals are involved worldwide, 2,000 websites to broadcast.
Integral to the broadcast is that it includes over 60 messages of organizations/ celebrities (Go to: www.peacedayparty.org to see list) that help create a peaceful world and share how they do it. THIS IS THE HEART OF THE SHOW, educating children to help reduce: violence, bullying, sex trafficking, homelessness, poor self- esteem, hunger, bad nutrition…
Paul Sladkus, Founder of Milestone Broadcast Corporation, est. 1985, states, “Our Good News Broadcasts raise the awareness that there are many helping to make life more peaceful for children NOW. We will broadcast the events of www.peacedayparty.org, a nonprofit organization whose efforts strengthen the message of International Peace Day and that’s Good News.”
We have been doing these events for 12 years and need some immediate financial help now to succeed, Our team and I BELIEVE we can help Achieve World Peace. Last time these events cost me $20,000, by hiring a LIVE EVENT TV production crew and satellite feed, and we couldn't do major publicity. We don't have it this year. So our STRETCH GOAL is $20,000 or more. Our minimum goal is $2,000 which works with a volunteer team and barter but to do a better job we pray that we raise more than the $2,000, but don't want to lose that amount should you be kind enough to support us, so we kept it low.
In Peace, Love & Hope, Good News & Peace Team.

Risks and challenges
After funding, We have the venues, so that is set. Our other challenge is having strong attendance to support Peace Day. We are in public locations, with many people, but we are working hard to make sure people show up for the events. Publicity is occurring, but with more money we can buy advertising and a page in the NY Times is costly for example, but whatever we raise we will use for production and raise awareness of the event. This is our passion, to help Achieve World Peace, we do it with our www.goodnewsplanet.com .Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
