Hands on Interview with Road to VR

"Impressed with the Magnum’s performance, especially considering its cost."

Ben Lang from Road to VR interviews Julian Volyn, Chief of Product, discussing input and motion controls in virtual reality, open source tracking, game development and more.

Full 360° Multicam Positional Tracking Support

You've spoken, and we've heard you: You want 360° positional tracking, so we're working to include it for the developer kit launch in December!  Zach Lynn, Chief of Software, showcases our detection progress using 2 PSEye cameras.  This is just the beginning, so keep your ideas coming!

New Key Strategic Partners for Full Immersion

We're proud to announce strategic partnerships that will bring us closer to "full immersion" in VR with integration with full body tracking, omnidirectional interaction and realistic haptics. We've been talking with our partners to ensure compatibility and future integration with our products.  More details will be following in the coming weeks.

PrioVR: Using high-performance inertial sensors that are placed on key points of the user's body, PrioVR captures movements, translating them on-screen in real-time. While PrioVR will provide body motion tracking, the Magnum's integration will serve as a hand input device.

Cyberith Virtualizer: An award winning concept, the Cyberith Virtualizer is an easy to use VR device that allows users to walk through any kind of virtual environment in real-time. With the Magnum serving as a hand input device, this omni-directional treadmill raises the level of immersion as players have the freedom to control games with their entire body.

Striker VR: Deriving its concept from the defense industry, Striker VR brings ultra-realistic recoil to virtual weaponry. With the Magnum's integration and motion controls, as well as Striker VR's force feedback haptics, players will encounter a truly intense first person shooter experience with peripheral add-ons and more.

We hope this is just the beginning of what we'll offer to you in the realm of VR.  So, please spread the word about our Kickstarter and continue to send your questions/suggestions our way so we may build a better experience for you.

Thanks for your continued support,
The TrinityVR Team
