"Personally I was on board as soon as I read the bands name... I just knew these were my kind of guys. Listening to some of their music proved my gut feeling was right. If you’re into some good quality rock/punk I can’t recommend enough that you check these guys out and, if you like them, help them get their first album recorded...I know I will." "This may not be hip of us to admit, but we increasingly enjoy watching bands perform that are actually fun. And fun is the primary goal of Atomic Pajama Party" The Larryville Chronicles-
So this is the spot where you want to read about what Atomic Pajama Party will be doing with your money. Really, it's the whole shebang, but I'll get into a bit of detail here.
Recording is expensive, and we are broke, so your pledged dollars will be going into recording at least 10 songs for the upcoming album, mixing, mastering, and pressing copies for you, our fans, to sell, maybe use as coasters, whatever.
Any excess money we may receive will be put to good use stocking the band beer fridge (well, maybe not that), making promotional T-shirts, flyers, possibly recording a couple of extra songs to reserve for compilation CD's, etc. If you've pledged to music acts on kickstarter, you probably get the drill. Pretty much, give us money, we'll record some fun music for you to enjoy, everyone wins.
If you have never heard us before, our demo songs are available at http://www.reverbnation.com/atomicpajamaparty there are some videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/disagreementstim/videos?flow=grid&view=0 and of course you can like our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/atomicpajamaparty and/or follow us on twitter http://www.twitter.com/atomicpjparty Any questions?
Risks and challenges
Three of the planned songs have not been demo tested so may need some additional tweaking during recording. These songs are solid live and should not be very hard to make them album ready. Otherwise, the challenge is time, however we gave ourselves a longer finish time than we had estimated to make sure this challenge does not become a problem.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
