About this project
Motion Commotion delivers fun educational programs to youth about the importance of physical activity and wellness. Not only does exercise build fitness, but also friendship, confidence and adventure!
We are building a novel 1-hour program that combines the popular NFL Play 60 curriculum and our personal stories of goal-setting and teamwork. The unique aspect of our team is that we BIKE to all program venues - no matter the distance. In this manner we serve as literal roles models of how to incorporate physical activity into daily routine.
May - July 2012 we will be biking from San Francisco to Washington, DC to deliver this program to you in over 30 communities! In this way, we leverage our energy and enthusiasm to help children explore their own possibilities. Along the way, we are collecting inspiration from kids themselves: The culmination of the program is a Children's book of kids in their own words about why exercise is fun!

But we need your help. We need $1000 for supplies to develop this program and create the final book:
-NFL Play60 Curriculum Kit
-Banner / Map of trip across the country
-Website maintenance fees
-Youth souvenir bracelets and stickers
-Office supplies / printing / mailing
No, Motion Commotion volunteers will be entirely self-sustained. We are camping, and bringing food, water, maps and a good attitude.
