Here we are again...

You may have been wondering where we've been for the last couple of days and why we haven't been flooding your inbox with directives, invectives, invitations, special offers and general cajolement.

The truth is we were exhausted with it and we expect you were too (us being at the centre of our own universe and all that). We were utterly astonished that we met the target - the excitement was all too much and at least one of us had to have a lie down.

And suddenly, in the realisation that our album is actually going to happen we thought we'd better book some tour dates. There's nothing like an imminent release to convince promoters that they might possibly want to book you for a wet Tuesday night when there's a football match or World Series game on the telly. Or possibly not.

So we set to and booked a few dates. And now we're back pestering everyone again. Here are some of the dates:

Sat Jul 21      Kingston NY         BSP Lounge
Fri Sept 7      New York NY        Bowery Electric
Thu Sept 13   Asbury Park NJ     The Saint
Fri Sept 14    Philadelphia PA     Tin Angel TBC
Sat Sept 15   Boston MA            Johnny D's
Tue Sept 18   Washington DC     Black Cat
Wed Sept 19  Raleigh NC           Berkeley Cafe
Oct 9 or 17    San Francisco       Hemlock Tavern TBC
Sat Oct 20     Paso Robles CA    Vines On The Marycrest

More US dates and a string of UK dates to follow.

And then we thought we'd better start practising so we cleared a space in the garage and made this little film by way of a thank you to everyone.

Astrovan is one of my favorites as well - love the stripped down version. (Er, stripped down version of the song, not the van.)

How about the Haute-Vienne this time? There's a few dozen of us here ready and waiting and I think I've even found a new venue 2 minutes from my house! :-)
