About this project
Thank you so much for taking your time to watch this video! It means a lot to us!
What is it?
Common Core 4 Kids is a 3D animated series of videos that will teach the basic math concepts for 2nd graders. The animated series of videos is designed to be more educationally based than many other entertainment learning shows. Through the 3D animation we hope to visually show kids the math concepts that they learn in the 2nd grade.
I personally have always loved 3D animation and how easily concepts can be taught by seeing something that is fun and educational. That is why I have started this project to help assist kids in learning the basics.
We wanted to help our elementary students have a good grasp on basic math concepts and came up with this 3D animated series solely based on the common core curriculum. We strongly feel it is important for our elementary students to grasp these concepts so they can be ready and excited to learn math as they continue in their education. We’re going to make sure this series is fun, exciting, but especially educational. We have family members teaching in the elementary schools and see firsthand how important it is to have these young students understand math!
How can I help?
The money we get from Kickstarter will be used to pay for animators to assist in this project. If you are not able to contribute then please help us by sharing this project on facebook and with all your friends and family. Thank you for any contribution you can give!
About the Rewards
As you can see we have some awesome rewards available on the right side of this page. I want to make sure and clarify a few things.
1. We will be sending the videos out as they are made so you do not have to wait until they are all completed in December. Your child should have the videos needed before he gets introduced to the concepts in school.
2. The T-shirts will be in the size of your choice.
3. These will be in a download format and not on DVD
We have been working on this project since July and are now ready to start the animations and get production done on this show. If we reach the minimum goal we will be able to proceed but if we exceed that goal we will be able to make the animations livelier and really eye catching.
You can also look at the website we have setup below.
Here is a cool pic of the first character we have. I hope to have all numbers done if we get the funding. A big thanks to Eric at Buzzyfunny for the 3D model.
