Kickstarter gave me the run around and was absolutely no help at all.
It's not so much that I didn't get the cupcakes; it's more the principle. If she had sent an email explaining the situation and said something like her business took a turn for the worse and she could no longer afford to send the cupcakes it wouldn't be so bad, but to just disappear and not say anything to anyone is shameful.
Success! I posted twice on her bakery FB page, but got nothing. I complained to Kickstarter, which sent me an email saying that the creator is responsible for fulfilling the pledge - period. I wrote back to complain that they don't even contact the creator to urge them to fulfill it, and they don't provide a way to leave feedback, so people know not to invest in future projects. Next thing I know, there's a $50 credit on my VISA from KS. I don't think it was the result of the dispute I filed with VISA - I think KS just issued the credit. But no one said anything to me about it - it just appeared on my latest VISA statement.

But she doesn't seem to be monitoring that - there are posts there from potential customers, and she doesn't seem to have responded.
She also has a personal FB page, but you can't post there unless you "friend" her.
I'm hoping to get these before I redeploy from Afghanistan. I was hoping to share them with my Platoon.
At this point, I think I'll just contact my VISA to see if I can get a refund. That's disappointing, because I sent the link for this Kickstarter to hundreds of people, and told the people in my office I'd be sharing the cupcakes with them. Oh, well.
I haven't and I'm leaving on a long Trip for a number of weeks....Please let me update where to send my reward....

Sending personal messages does not seem to work, since I have been waiting several weeks now for replies to the last two. So I will post a comment instead. I am still trying to get confirmation that you will not be sending my reward while I am out of town. Details can be found in my previous 2 messages. HELLO EVERYONE! I apologize for the delay in response! I'm in the process of moving so I've been very busy but have not forgotten about you all! I will be sending out the form to get all of your addresses today. Then, I will be mailing them in two separate batches. The first will be the week of last week June and the second batch will be the first week of July.
