New Reward Tiers!

As a creator on Kickstarter, you want to put your best foot forward. Your reward tiers should be easily understood by potential backers. For us, that meant offering an Early Bird package at just $10 followed by various quantities including 1, 2, 4 and 8 for players and 36 for retailers.

"Options and choices each present decisions, but they do so in very different ways. Options make you choose what you want to do while choices make you choose how you want to do it." -Mark Rosewater "Decisions, Decisions, Part I"

While our old reward tiers were great for a lot of players, some of the options we provided were limiting. We've received a few messages asking what the best way to order 3 or 5 was. The answer to that was clunky and, while it was functional, it required folks to do extra work to get the amount that they wanted.

One of my favorite playgroups includes the Jones family. Two parents and their daughter who play at least once a week at our local game store. For the Jones family to get their Mojos, they needed to either buy four (spending money on a Mojo they couldn't use) or use two different Kickstarter accounts to buy two Mojos and then one Mojo for a total of three.

Did you feel confused reading that? Let's fix that.

We've added new packages that allow you to receive the Mojos you want. We haven't heard many ask for more than 8, so the new tiers allow you to receive any amount between 1 and 8. If there is a custom amount you'd like, send us a message. During our final days, we'll create the reward tier that you want.

I hope this change helps you get the products that you want for the people you love to play with. From all of us at D1, thank you so much for your support. We say it frequently, but we can't say it enough.
