So how do I get my copy of Planar Conquest?

    5. Petrell on March 26

@garkham: GOG rejected WoM half year or so ago. Here's hoping Wastelands Interactive will resubmit Planar Conquest and it'll be accepted so I can claim my promissed DRM-free copy.

As far as I can tell Planar Conquest is what Worlds of Magic should've been on launch. You could call it Worlds of Magic Enhanced Edition instead. It'll contain everything WoM had so there will be no reason to play WoM once Planar Conquest comes out.

    6. garkham on March 8

Mh I think I don't get all of this. I'm part of this weird team only playing DRM-free and waiting for the physical game. Can you just explain me if :
      * I will get a DRM-free version of Worlds of Magic or not ? On GOG or not ?
      * I will get a physical edition of Worlds of Magic or not ?
      * I will get a DRM-free version of Planar Conquest or not ? On GOG or not ?
      * I will get a physical edition of Planar Conquest or not ?

If only getting one of the two games, what Planar Conquest does not have (in content) that Worlds of Magic had ? Don't say 'BUGS' hey, I'm just wondering if I will lose something by non playing at WoM 1.0 because Planar Conquest it's a real sequel, or if it's most an "Enhanced Edition" that integrates all the original WoM stuff.

      Thanks in advance.

    7. Creator Wastelands Interactive on March 4

Planar Conquest is enhanced (sequel) version of Worlds of Magic.
      Much much improved game.

    8. John GT on March 3

Yeah, I'm with Jaysyn: what is Planar Conquest? Admittedly, I lost touch with this project when time stretched on, I don't Steam...ever, and anything I did hear was negative. So I just stopped pursuing information. Suddenly, an update in my e-mail about a game I've never heard of. Is Planar Conquest just WoM with a new name?

NewYear.....2016. This is the quarter they alluded to that would see them deliver physical rewards. The countdown starts towards March 31. Still have heard NO updates since August from them, and I have no game, and no physical rewards on a pledge made in May 2013.

    11. GonzoGonzales on November 23

I would have never guessed that the developer will disappoint us! But no words on the physical reward and still after all that time getting nothin is a hard truth!

    12. Missing avatar

      Stephen J. OGrady on October 30, 2015

The last update in late August spoke about first quarter 2016. This now makes the game over 2 years late by the time it is delivered with the physical rewards and relaunched (non beta) PC version . But they were specific about this and as much as I hate the wait, at least they communicated their intentions, which is OK by me (still hate the wait).

    13. GonzoGonzales on October 23, 2015

In addition still no word about the box reward! A pitty ! Seems they stopped supporting the game....

    14. Missing avatar

      SXF on October 20, 2015

Have you forgotten that some of your backers DO NOT have the game at all at this point? Why are you unable to make this happen, or even explain what the holdup is? Why are you talking about tablets and consoles as if anyone here still waiting for their PC copy wants to hear it? Do you need me to list off the ways you could fix this? I shouldn't have to, because they're pretty obvious.

    15. Missing avatar

A little over 5-6 weeks since the last update.
Please give an update to physical reward backers.
In your last posting you promised as soon as possible, but no specific dates could be promised at that time.
How about now? Can you give us a date now?
      Thanks.

Thanks for sending the key however I have been asking for it via email since March. I'm glad there is some movement on the GOG release but as others have stated please try to stay in touch on Kickstarter at least until you have fulfilled the various rewards.

Thank you for the communication and update. That's all I wanted. Some communication that there is stuff forthcoming.

Where have you guys been? I shouted as loud as I could! Stay in touch with us.

I take back all I said now that you are back. Just don't get lost again. Again, thanks for the update.

    21. Creator Wastelands Interactive on July 13, 2015

I've received information from GOG that their version should be available in July.
We wanted the game to be released at the same moment as the STEAM version but later we decided to hold until the game will be in state that both parties will be. With the upcoming 1.2 patch we are pretty happy, so the beta has been already sent to GOG.

All the physical rewards are going to be delivered as soon as possible, but at this moment I'm not able to give you any specific date.
Please remember that if you ordered physical version, there is also one digital copy included for you.

Together with 1.2 patch we are finishing the extra content for backers, so digital extras should be sent this month.

@Andy Smith, if you take a look at your email, you will see that the key has been sent within about hour after you requested it, in private message.

Sometimes it might take longer but we are doing our best to send the keys as soon as possible.

Is there an echo in here?
Hey! They took my money and my mailbox continues to be empty from their failure to provide a physical product that I pledged and paid for 2 years ago that was going to be sent to me. Kickstarter fraud...

      Where is my Game????

    24. Missing avatar

      Stephen J. OGrady on July 8, 2015

In my book, it is an utter kickstarter failure to deliver the promise of what I backed. They took my money, delivered an inferior product on a platform I did not pay for, and I got nothing in return. Except their refusal to acknowledge me or the obligation they have to me (and other backers of physical rewards).

    25. Missing avatar

Andy Smith on July 8, 2015

I requested a steam key back in March after the offer was made. Requested it again recently but I still have no key. I assume the quality control of the game and the mediocre reviews it has received will result this not appearing on GOG anytime soon. Hopefully I'm proved wrong on this but I'll add this to my list of projects that have failed to deliver anything to me.

Still waiting for the GOG release. It's been over a month - come on, guys.
At least please offer the backers still waiting for the GOG release a Steam key now PLUS the GOG-key as soon as it releases.
I'm very disappointed by now, not only by the seemingly bad quality of the game (judging by reviews), but especially for you leaving your backers hanging in thin air without their game which they paid for many months ago.

Where is my physical copy (CDs?)
Where is my physical rules manual?
Where is my signed art book?
      Where is my digital soundtrack?

      Just wondering.
      Thanks.

    41. Yves on March 28, 2015

I don't mind one bit waiting a couple weeks for my GOG key if it means getting a better release. Good luck with the patching in the meantime !

    42. Creator Wastelands Interactive on March 27, 2015

      Dom,

we did send all the STEAM keys already, if you didn't receive it, please send me your email to leszek.lisowski[at]wastelands-interactive.com.
I'll do my best to resend it ASAP (below 24 hours).

The GOG version is delayed a little bit, until we will get more stable release, this is the matter of patching, we can do it on STEAM much easier.

keys for GOG will be sent as soon as we will receive them.

So it seems the game has been released - where are the keys for us backers, though?
Especially, why is the GOG release delayed?
Doesn't feel good to be a backer from day one and then all the other guys get to play before oneself.

    44. Torolf - Alchemist of the Obsidian Order on March 23, 2015

Once you guys have eaten and slept, what is the status of the digital extras such as the digital spellbook, backer heroes and so on?

Should we request GOG keys that way too ?

    48. Sasha MacPherson on March 20, 2015

I would also be curious when/how we will get our keys. Also, since the game was announced as DRM free and so far it released on Steam only...will the DRM free option be available for download somewhere else then?
