How The Games Work

Created this Legend for the Generic Rules in our Games Legend:

Standard Shooting*

1. Arc Shot

2. Fastball Shot

3. Bounce Shot

Standard Pong Rules*

1. Possession determined by ‘Eye to Eye.’

2. Each player shoots once per round.

3. If a ball is made in a cup a player drinks the contents, and the cup is removed from the game.

4. If a team makes both shots in a row, they get both balls back and shoot again.

5. If a bounce shot is made, it counts for two cups.

6. If a bounce shot is attempted, it can be swatted away by the defensive team.

7. Two ‘Re-Racks’ per game.

8. A team wins when they make all of their opponent's cups.

9. Redemption: the losing team has the opportunity to shoot until they miss.

10. If, during redemption, the losing team clears all of the opponents’ cups, it goes into three cup overtime.

11. If two consecutive shots result in balls remaining in the same cup, the game is over.

For Example, if a '3' cup is made, you and your partner each drink 3 seconds.

6. Score 21 points to win, if your team goes over 21 reset back to 15.

7. Play until a team scores exactly 21.

Use this Rack Formation for Skee Pong

 Triangle (‘1’, ‘2’, & ‘3’) in the middle

Put 4&5 on the corners of the table

11. When the Flag is made, it is then moved up a row (hide it in any of the three spots).

12. When the Flag is made again, it is moved up another row (hide it in any of the two spots).

13. When the Flag is made again, it is moved to the final row.

14. When it is made in the final row, the Flag has been captured and the game is over.

3. Standard Pong Rules*

4. One Rack only in the center of the table.

5. Rack Formation:

6. Make the cups in order of ‘1’ through ‘9’.

7. If both players get two cups in number sequence order, they get the balls back.

8. Drink only when the other team made a cup in number sequence.

9. If a cup is made not in number sequence, your team loses their turn.

10. The team that makes the ‘9’ cup wins (number of made cups does not matter).

11. No Redemption.

BATTLE PONG

1. Standard Shooting*

2. One, Two, or more players on each team.

3. Standard Triangle Rack* (six or ten cups) in numerical sequence.

4. Standard Pong Rules*

5. Each player gets a shot per round. 1v1 uses two balls.  Made cups are drank and removed.

6. The made shots are scored by the number in the cup and added to your team's total.

For Example, in one round a team made cups numbered '1,' '4,' and '6'; the team's total is 11 for that round.

7. The team with the most points after three rounds of shooting wins the game.

8. Tiebreakers are settled by one shot per round until the game has a winner.

9. Balls are returned if all shots are made in a round.

10. NO RE-RACKS

BATTLECUPS

1. Standard Shooting*

2. One or more players on each team.

3. Standard Pong Rules*

ALONG WITH...

4. There are two BattleCups. The BattleCups are cups ‘1&2’ and ‘3&4.'

5. BattleCups can be placed forward, backward, sideways, or diagonal.

6. The BattleCups have to be connected in one of those ways.

7. When a cup is made other than a BattleCup, that cup is drank and removed from the game.

8. The game is over when a team sinks the opposing teams BattleCups.

9. NO RE-RACKS

Use this Rack Formation for BattleCups

This Rack Formation allows 23 different spots for the BattleCups to be placed.

10. Redemption- If game goes to OT-Standard Pong Rules, with the addition of using one BattleCup '1&2' in this rack formation.  Use square for rack formation for OT.

KING OF THE CUPS

1. Standard Shooting*

2. This is an individual elimination game

3. Only one person can win the game.

4. Two or more players can play the game, the more the better.

5. The players stand in a circular formation around the table.

6. After each round a person is eliminated from the game.

7. A round is only concluded when a full rack has been finished.

8. The loser of the round or game drinks the King's Cup seconds.

9. The King's Cup is always a ‘10’ cup, and always in the center of the Rack Formation.

10. The King's Cup is never removed from the game.

11. Use two balls, although more will make the game go faster.

12. Each player gets two shots at the rack.

13. If the player makes only one or misses both shots, the balls are passed to the left.  If he/she makes one, he/she can give away those cup numbered seconds, but it is not removed from the game.

For Example, if you make an '8' cup you give away eight seconds to drink to whoever you want.  You can give it to one person or split them among the group.

14. No cups are removed from the game unless YOU ARE THE KING.

15. Only ONE player can be the KING at a time.

16. Only the King can make cups and remove them from the game.

17. You become the King by making the center ‘10’ King Cup (Say "King Me"). You remain King until someone else makes the center King Cup, then they become King.

18. When you are the King you can now start to eliminate cups from the game.

19. If you are the King and make a cup, you take that cup to your corner.  Drink that well deserved cup, and give away the cup numbered seconds.  If you make a cup outside the center, and then the King's Cup, you bring that cup to your corner still.

20. Whoever has the most made cups in their corner at the of the round or game wins.

21. Whoever has the least amount loses and is removed from the game.

22. If there is a tie for the least or most amount of cups made in a round it is settled by Flip Cup, winner stays.  Winner starts as King the next round.

23. If a player makes both his shots during his turn whether he is king or not, he gets the balls back.

24. King's Cup does count as a made cup, but only to end the round or game.

25. Rack as much as possible to keep the original Rack. Try keeping the King's Cup in the center.  No mid rack.

26. The King is immune from drinking seconds.

Use these Rack Formations for King of the Cups

7 Cup

13 Cup

19 Cup

Use the Rack which fits best for the appropriate amount of people playing the game.

Change rack formations as the amount of players is lowered throughout the game.

AMAZING CUP RACE

1. Rapid Fire Shooting (Shoot whenever you get the ball)

2. One vs. one

3. Two balls are used during the game.

4. Each player starts with a ball.

5. You cannot cross the center of the table to collect a ball, but you can shoot immediately any ball you retrieve in the boundary.

6. Six cups on each side of the table in a straight line, one in the center, thirteen in total.

7. When a cup is made, you drink. Drink before you shoot. NO BALLS BACK.

8. When you have eliminated the six cups of the opposing player, you shoot for the center cup.

9. When the center cup is made the game is over. First one to make it wins.

10. If the center cup is made before all the cups have been eliminated, nothing happens.

BLUFF CUP

1. Standard Shooting*

2. One or more players on each team

3. Standard Triangle Rack* (six or ten cups).

4. Randomize the numbers ‘1-10’ into a triangle rack any way you would like.

5. Standard Pong Rules*

ALONG WITH...

6. When a cup is made on a team, that team can now ask a higher or lower question.

7. The team can also choose not to ask that question depending on strategy.

8. The question is higher or lower than a certain number.

For Example, if the ‘5’ cup is made you can now ask the opposing team if they think the number is higher or lower than any number other than the number that was actually made (Only higher or lower can be asked).  In this example, he could ask higher or lower than any number except for '5'.

9. If the team guesses correctly whether it was higher or lower than the number asked, your team loses another cup.  Two cups in total (the original, plus another cup).

10. If the team guesses incorrectly, the shot made does not count and no cup is removed.

11. First team to make and remove all the cups wins the game.

12. Redemption- If game goes to OT-Standard Pong Rules, with the addition that you use cups numbered '1,' '3,' and '6'.

CUP MEMORY

1. Standard Shooting*

2. One or more players on each team

3. Standard Triangle Rack* (six or ten cups).

4. Randomize the numbers ‘1-10’ into a triangle rack, any way you would like.

5. Standard Pong Rules*

ALONG WITH...

6. At the beginning of the game, each team has approximately 10 seconds to look at where the opposing team placed their numbers.

7. Now, when a cup is made during this game you also have to correctly identify which number you made as well, in order to remove it from the game. If you guess incorrectly, the cup is not removed from the game.

8. Any player on your team can answer which number it is.

9. Two Racks are allowed, but remember that each time a team racks, they can re-randomize the remaining numbers causing confusion. You have to strategize if or when you should rack, because it will be harder to identify which numbered cup you made.

10. First team to make all the cups wins.

11. Redemption- If games goes to OT-Standard Pong Rules, with the addition that you use cups numbered '1,' '3,' and '6'.

The more you win at this game, the harder it gets.

ODDS & EVENS

1. Standard Shooting*

2. One or more players on each team

3. Standard Triangle Rack*

4. Randomize the numbers ‘1-10’ into a triangle rack, any way you would like.

5. Standard Pong Rules*

ALONG WITH...

6. At the beginning of the game, you can pick your team as either odds or even.

For Example, if your team is even then your even numbers (five of them) have to be hit twice before then can be removed from the game.

7. This game creates strategy of where you want to put your best pieces at the beginning of the game and after each rack.

8. First team to make all the cups wins.

9. Redemption- If game goes to OT-Standard Pong Rules, with the addition that you use NONE of your power numbers.

CUPSWEEPER

1. Standard Shooting*

2. Three players on each team

3. Three ping pong balls used

4. Standard Triangle Rack*

5. Randomize the numbers ‘‘1-10’’ into a triangle rack, any way you would like.

6. Standard Pong Rules*

ALONG WITH...

7. Two of the ten cups on each side are empty.

8. When a player makes an empty cup he is eliminated from the game, that team will still shoot three times per round even if they are down to one player.

9. A player can be brought back into the game if your team makes 2 out of 3 shots in a round.  This is important for Redemption/OT.

10.  First team to make all the cups wins.

11. Redemption- While shooting in redemption your team gets only the number of shots of the players remaining on your team.

For Example, if a team has only one player remaining, they only get one shot in redemption.

If the game goes to OT-Standard Pong Rules, with the addition that you only get the number of shots of the players remaining in the game, and NO empty cups are used.

PONG TOSS

1. Two players on each team

2. Two or more teams can play at a time.

3. Your teammate is on the other side of the table.  If you are outside, all teams must be an equal distance apart from their teammates.

4. Each player has three or five cups in front of them, whichever is agreed upon before the game.

5. Each team has one ping pong ball. This is your team's ball. Another ball cannot be used.

6. Throw the ball underhand or overhand across the table (no bounces).

7. Your teammate has to try and catch the ping pong ball you tossed in midair with the cup your hand is holding.

8. When a ball is caught in a cup, you drink it. Eliminate it and move on to the next cup.

9. Drink before your next toss.

10. When all cups have been eliminated your team wins. First to eliminate all their cups wins.

11. If outside, setup the next cup further and further apart to add difficulty/fun to the game!

Fast pace game, winners drink more.

If you have more than two teams you can turn it into an elimination. Last place finish doesn't move onto the next round.

Dirty Beer Pong

  • We have all played our share of Dirty Beer Pong!
  • There was no alternative other than water pong until now.
  • Slip Cup allows you to play Clean Pong!
  • Don't play like this anymore!

 Beer Cup

  • "The most dangerous part of playing beer pong might not be drinking too much beer. A group of Clemson University students tested pingpong balls being used in beer pong games across campus one weekend last fall and discovered teeming bacteria. More research found that dangerous bacteria such as salmonella, listeria, e. Coli and staph on the balls end up in the beer when players make successful tosses into glasses."
  • Slip Cup prevents the ball from ever making contact with your beverage!  And you still get to play the same great game!

Water Cup

  • "Oh, and that water cup that everyone used to clean the balls? That was the most infected, and housed the most bacteria growth over night."- George Washington University
  • With Slip Cup you don't even need a Water Cup!

The FUNDS

If the campaign is successful, the funds will be used accordingly.

Most the of the funds will used for Startup Manufacturing Costs-

Our product requires special tooling in order to make it.  These special tools added a lot to our initial startup cost.

Initial Gang Run-

In order to turn the machines on we have to make a certain amount, and this minimum can be costly.

Packaging & Label Design-

We want to give our product special packaging, so it doesn't go on store shelves.  This adds to the initial startup cost, but increases the retailers we can provide the product to, so Slip Cup™ can be purchased on the go in a lot more locations!

Risks and challenges

The good news is that we have created a product that creates Clean Beer Pong without changing a single aspect to the game of Beer Pong while adding 15 new drinking games!

However,

There are still some challenges to over come to get Slip Cup™ into major retailers.

CHALLENGES

Getting you the product as fast as possible. That's why we don't have a complicated reward system, we just offer our product. This way we can just start making, packaging, and shipping them!

We need a proven track record to get into major retailers, we need to show them that you guys WANT this product!

Distribution & Volume, to be able to keep up with production of major retailers.

Qualified

We are not going to give up if a challenge arises in getting this product to market. If we do not know a solution to a problem, we are going to find it. We know that we don't know all the answers to every question we'll have along this journey, but we have no problem knocking on the doors of the people that do. It wasn't easy getting this product to this point, and we ran into challenges all along the way, but we have overcome them, and we will continue to overcome them.

Our design models have been inspected and approved by our manufacturing partners and our production timeline has been established. We are excited to bring Slip Cup to life.
