SYNOPSIS: "Through a Child's Eyes" is an intense short film. It is the story of a young girl who struggles to survive in her abusive household. Claire has a younger sister and is incredibly close with her and their mother, however her father is emotionally and physically abusive and once she becomes a teenager it takes a toll on her relationship with the rest of her family. 'Through a Childs Eyes' is a story of love, abuse, survival and escape.

PROJECT GOAL: The overall goal of this film is to reach out and touch the lives of those who have suffered from abuse and to serve as a beacon of hope to those who still do. The films script is complete and pre-production has been going on since the start of the year. Casting has already been done as well as location scouting. Everything is falling into place for the film. I am very excited to make it and share this powerful story with the world.

The funds being requested for this film are going to: location permits and rentals, camera rentals, lighting rentals, van rental, art direction and many other things they are needed to complete this film. The film is also being financed by myself and I have acquired half of the films total budget, however, I need help raising the rest of the funds. I hope that you can help! Please spread the word about this film and tell your friends and family! Together we can make this happen!

FILM INTRODUCTION:  The film on this page is a short film introducing myself to you, discussing some of my previous works and my current film project "Through a Child's Eyes".

BIOGRAPHY: Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, I now live in Long Island, New York. I started the film production company, M.A.R.S. Productions when I was merely eight years old, along with my sister and mother. Throughout my childhood, I made several film parodies covering all genres, but specialized in sci-fi and fantasy films. Through M.A.R.S. Productions, I edited, directed, produced, designed costumes and sets, wrote screenplays and acted in over 70 short to feature length films. In my late teens I directed, produced and edited the highly successful film parody "Middle Earth Idols", which was shown across the country. I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing industry professionals on my films such as: Dean Haglund ("The X-Files"), Kiran Shah ("Lord of the Rings", "Chronicles of Narnia"), Alexis Cruz ("Stargate"), Michael Regina (TheOneRing.Net) and Grant Wilson ("Ghost Hunters").

In 2006 I began filming paranormal documentaries, and started one of the most respected paranormal groups in the country, Dark Forest Paranormal. Through DFP I have created the web series "When Night Falls", a documentary series covering my teams investigations across the country, that is in post production (over 600 hours of footage).

I also run my own personal film production company, Dark Forest Productions, in which I am the director, editor and producer of all of the film projects. I am currently studying directing and editing at the New York Film Academy, while still working on own independent films.
