      Ryan -

Thank you for being an inspiration for those like me, who hope to one day be on the front lines battling such horrible human rights atrocities. It is appalling that these violations take place with those who are equipped to help at witness. I hope to follow in your foot steps once I graduate college; I also hope that your advocacy will help pave the road to more aid, greater awareness, and a better ability for those who wish to help to do so.

Thank you for your efforts, and the best of wishes.

Dear Ryan, my heart and my prayers are with you in this fight for these people. I keep thinking about the battle in the old testament where the enemy is completely confused and they end up killing each other. I am praying for victory for these PRECIOUS people, after watching your story last night, I cannot stop thinking about you out there in a cave with your family. I pray for the peace of Christ to dwell in your hearts and for the joy of the Lord to strengthen you. His power is made great in our weakness. I pray wherever you are you would feel Him with you. Can't and won't stop praying....... Jenni

Ryan, my family has been praying for you since we met your mother just over a year ago. I purchased a beautiful portrait of a Nuba lady I believe you took. My daughter and I commited to pray for you faithfully for 30 days. You are often in our prayers and always in our hearts. I commit myself to working all the harder for your cause in the coming year. I just made a small contribution to Kickstarter! Stay well brother, you have many fans here, and ne BIG supporter with you always.

Ryan you are one incredible person. Thank you for what you are doing...with all the inequalities happening in our world today sometimes I find myself overwhelmed...wanting to help everyone but feeling so clueless about how to do so. Watching Ann Curry's report last evening my heart was aching and tears flowing down my face...why is our world so cruel and unfair? Why must human beings treat other human beings this way...most of us believe in higher power and I truly can't understand why some feel that that higher power prefers them over others? I thought we as a world agreed we would never tolerate ethnic cleansing after World War II....and it's still happening in many parts of the world today? I will continue to spread the word about your reporting with hopes that others will support your cause to help the Nuba people. I'll pray that Allah give you strength and help the Nabu people.

God bless ya brother. and all my NUBA FAMILY!!

@Randall Roberts comment: Ryan is only supported by a few churches in his hometown and is not employed by any organizations at this time. That is why it is so important to help him and his associates start this journalism project Eyes and Ears!!

Ryan, Thank you for your sacrifice. This is truly going the extra mile. I am also thankful your story was brought to my attention on NBC Nightly News and the MSNBC website today. Unfortunately it did not mention how you get your support now. What organization is that so that I can refer others to them as well on your behalf? God bless and be careful.

Sitting in my comfy "Man Cave" drinking chai tea, listening to jazz and reading the NY Times. I wonder what life is like this Sunday for Ryan and his friends and family dodging Sudanese bombers and living on ever dwindling rations. Wondering if my $25 might help to make a difference. Oh, look at the time! Don't want to miss the red carpet opening ceremonies at the Academy Awards.
