The Domes of Ishaq-Zahur adventure is a tabletop roleplaying game module featuring challenging combat and traps, a gamut of mind-bending puzzles, a completely custom cast of NPCs and monsters, detailed backstory and plot, and guidelines detailing the best ways to run the sessions standalone or incorporate it into your ongoing campaign.
The 80+ page adventure is written for both the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and designed to take a 5th level party of characters from either system to 7th level over the course of 10 to 12 sessions of play.
The Deluxe Version includes all the digital assets you'll need to take this to your Favorite Virtual Tabletop, including high-res encounter maps, objects, tokens, and puzzle pieces (for those that benefit from a prop or two!).
We have dark designs to develop this module into a complete Adventure Path (with stretch goal funding), so you'll see long-term campaign elements built into the module that will allow it for easy transition into your personal campaign or the full adventure path!
A neurotic archaeologist professes to have discovered the final resting place of an ancient king - The Nartheneen Priest-King, Ishaq-Zahur. With promises of scientific discovery, access to wondrous artifacts of unimaginable power, and a hefty sum of gold, he has brought you to explore the great stone Domes of Ishaq-Zahur.
The module is nearly complete already! It's been a labor of love with funding coming from the 2CGaming team, but we need your support to push the quality to the next level and finish the project!
Right now, we've already finished the writing, testing, most of the artwork, tokens, world maps, and mood music, but we need your funding to help us finish the remaining items:
- Conversion and Testing. between Pathfinder and 5th Edition. We're veterans in both systems, but there are, of course, notable strengths in each system that the module will play to.
- Encounter Maps. Glorious full-color encounter maps created by the legendary Tommi Salama (tommisalama.com) who has done magnificent work with both 2CGaming and other great companies like Kobold Press, Adventure a Week, and Rite Publishing.
- An Organized Product. John Cason (jcasondesign.com) will be working with 2CGaming to bring you an optimal layout and professional feel.
- Brilliant Artwork. Jason Strutz (strutzillustration.com) will provide his masterful pen to the project, bringing the images and story to life.

NOTE: Physical Copies
This Kickstarter Campaign is intended to fund the creation of the digital assets for The Domes of Ishaq-Zahur. Once the campaign has concluded, we'll be offering physical copies through Backerkit at reduced cost!
From the barren desert, the players travel with the Scepter of Ishaq-Zahur to the City of Archensheen. Sweat and intrigue drip from all corners of the scorching city, and the PCs find themselves caught up in machinations of scope beyond their reckoning ... The City of Sand will clock in at close to 80 pages - taking a 7th level party to 9th level over the course of 10 to 12 sessions of play.
While the previous module had emphasis on traps & puzzles, Part 2 will place focus on intrigue, villains, and factions, introducing some new narrative mechanics 2CGaming's has had in development for some time.
Any funding The Domes of Ishaq-Zahur receives beyond our base goal ($3,700), goes towards the development of the next module! If we reach the goal before The Domes of Ishaq-Zahur is finished, we'll immediately offer The City of Sands to all backers at reduced cost ($10 PDF, $25 Digital Deluxe).
If we're unable to fund The City of Sands before we finish The Domes, we'll be back to Kickstarter to rally support for Part 2. Our target goal will then be reduced by the amount raised before we launch.
When we successfully unlock The City of Sands, it'll be available to our Kickstarter & Pre-Order backers at the rates below:
- PDF Only ($10)
- PDF and Digital Assets ($25)
Expected Delivery (Tentative): April, 2017
MORE TO COME
We're excited to expand The Domes of Ishaq-Zahur to a full suite of seven modules & setting, bringing your characters from 3rd to 17th level. As we approach the future modules, we'll unfold additional details.
Writing & Story
Jon Kelly and Steven Gordon compose the writing and story team for The Domes of Ishaq-Zahur. With decades of Tabletop RPG experience from both sides of the table between them, the module could not be in better hands.
Art & Design
A collective of artists have joined forces to bring this project to its apex:
- Lucas Durham (Cover Art, Illustrations)
- Jason Strutz (Illustrations)
- Kadra Alvaro (Cartography, Object Art)
- Natalie Kelly (Token Art)
- Tommi Salama (Encounter Maps)
Risks and challenges
This isn't our first rodeo, and certainly isn't the largest project we've worked on. The project is in great hands.
Out distribution medium is 100% digital, avoiding the time and cost of print and shipping. We *will* make print copies available on our website when the project completes, but our goal is to provide you, the backers, with immediate satisfaction!
We are in the final stages of our previously completed Kickstarter, The Total Party Kill Handbook - having sent the files off to print just weeks before this project's launch. This project's timeline include the possibility that the previous Kickstarter may take through October to complete; you'll see no delays in turnaround or quality!
We've been pretty good in our estimations of total project cost, and we put product quality above all else. If the project doesn't meet our standards with the funding we receive from this Kickstarter, we'll foot the extra bill to bring it to the level it needs to be.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
