Truck Farm Chicago's been doing BIG THINGS

Hi KickStarter friends!

Farmer Sydney here from Truck Farm Chicago. Its been a few months since you've heard from us. Maybe you've been perusing our new website and blog to make sure you don't miss the fun, maybe you're wondering who the heck this Farmer Sydney is who's been emailing you, or maybe you've forgotten all about us (hopefully not).

Truck Farm is enjoying her winter break and we farmers are already gearing up for the 2013 season! To recap the 2012 season, in which you folks were MONUMENTAL in making a huge success:

-Inspired 3,000 Chicagoans to take action about their food and health

-Awarded 35 scholarship visits to underserved Chicago communities

-Traveled a combined total of 500 miles- talk about a mobile farm!

We've already set up visits with the Nature Museum, Eugene Field Park and Oscar Meyer Magnet School for the 2013 season- it's looking to be another fabulous tour. Thanks for your continued support and commitment to Chicago's health! Find Truck Farm Chicago on Facebook and Twitter to stay in the loop for the 2013 season.

PS- Check out this video from Fooditude to experience a real life Truck Farm visit.
