Hello, dear readers. I have an important update for you:
I've received hardcover pricing options from my wonderful printers, and I've made a decision on the price we need to hit to make hardcovers a financially viable option, but retain the $10 price point I've wanted Something Terrible to be set at. To do that, I'll need to double the order to 4000 copies. This was likely to happen, anyway, as demand in just the first five days has far exceeded what I'd anticipated. Thank you all so much for being a part of this project.
So, I'm setting the stretch goal for the hardcovers at $22,000. This will accommodate the larger order, the increased shipping costs, and still keep the book at ten dollars each, retail. (At this price and format, by the way, the Retailer/Support Organization Donor Level is made even more appealing, in my opinion.) It'll also leave me with extra copies to sell at cons, where I think folks who missed out on the Kickstarter will be looking for it.
Thanks as always for sharing this story with your friends. It is spreading farther than I'd have ever imagined. Once again, here is your signal in the sky from me: <3
