Posted by Sethgodin (Creator)

They're starting to arrive. Rex in Seattle got his and posted a video, and David sent me a picture.

Feel free to post a link to your unboxing or comments below if you like!

Came home Friday to find a FedEx 'Sorry you weren't home' card and wondered what it was that they were delivering. By Monday I had worked it out and around midday, here in southern Sydney the box arrived. I figured the courier guy was a bit weeny when he struggled with it, but when I picked it up - Wow.
Opened it to find a feast of absolute delights inside - plus of course the Behemoth. Already worked out which of my family and friends will get the 7 spare copies of The Icarus Deception - but thanks for your generosity and your inspiration.

You're the Master Seth. Just received my copy of the behemoth all the way over here in Melbourne Australia - I'm sure three posties suffered a hernia as a result just getting it up to my letterbox. Your generosity is inspiring. Your art makes a difference. Just in time for Xmas to pass on 7 copies of the Icarus Deception to people I wish to make a difference to... much love, happy holidays everyone! Mark

    4. Christine Odle on

This is my second favorite book in the whole world! I read a little each day, and suspect I will for the rest of my life! Thanks Seth!

    5. Jess Koscher on

It's here! My assistant was NOT thrilled... which was balanced by my own level of being totally thrilled! AWESOME!!!! Thanks Seth!

I received my "no brainer" on Wednesday here in Indianapolis. It was delivered to the office and they were not happy they had to lug it to me... if they only knew I would have come to pick it up. Looks great! Can't wait for the holiday to dig in.

The Mammoth just arrived, all the way down to South Mexico, we´re thrilled, this is our tribe, and this this is unpackaging! thanks for the inspiration Seth!…

    9. Jess Koscher on

Anyone from the midwest get theirs yet? Still waiting... and a little jealous.

    10. George Blobe on

Got the package today.....wait that's not all..... I also got the free app ( and spent the .99 for the full version) I'm thinking that is one heck of a combo... in addition to the eerily timed daily blogs....I can go to the app and with intention look up past well as go to The Behemoth for additional insight.....look out we are gonna be knocking some doors down now!

My package arrived yesterday, by way of media mail. I live in Utah, less than 1000 miles from point of origin. Packaging was a bit damaged. The boxes holding The Behemoth and the copies of The Icarus Deception were beat up but no damage to any of the books. My wife was dismayed by the size of the book. My kids were delighted. I'm already pretty sure I'm building a Halloween costume around it for next year and will work to build up some arm strength to heft it around.
I'm wanting to take The Behemoth on the train, just to show it off, but I walk almost two miles each way as part of my commute and it won't fit in a book bag. I will have to see what I can figure out.

As promised - the video. I chose to leave one bit of profanity in at the beginning, so viewers beware. I think you'll see my utter delight, start to finish. Thanks, again, Seth, for getting it right every time.…

OH MY GOSH! My package just arrived in Boulder. It must've been delivered yesterday, but I just discovered it this lazy Sunday morning. I am, without a doubt, 100% blown away. I had very high expectations... and you've just shattered them in the most fantastic way. My husband took a video of me opening the package. A little editing is needed to eliminate my, ahem, excited profanity. At one point in the video I squeal like I imagine a ten year old girl would on Christmas morning if a live pony arrived on her doorstop. The fact that I'm in pigtails and slippers makes it all the funnier. Thank you so much, Seth, for letting me be a part of this entire process. You and your team have outdone yourselves. You are simply the best at what you do. You inspire me to do more and better. I certain there's no greater gift you can give to others. Thank you!

I received my Behemoth this week and posted a photo album to Facebook:…

Seth, I am somewhat new to your writings, having become a subscriber only a year or so ago. The Behemoth gives me a memorable way to catch up on what I've missed! The book is beautiful, and fun, and rich. Thank you for it. Oh, and The Icarus Project is good too. :)

Mine arrived yesterday to great fanfare (my kids though I bought something for them they are 6 and 3 and they make a lot of art, but sadly they are not up to reading "Chapter Books" as my son would say.

Sadly; however my two copies of V is for Vulnerable were not signed by Mr. Godin, as promised in the $111 or more pledge. Can I send them back for signature?

    19. Noah Fleming on

This thing is huge. Mine arrived today...Crazy.

Luckily i have an industrial strength hard wood coffee table to handle what just arrived in the mail. I love the ducks on the shipping box, even! Seth, you have outdone yourself - not only have you created a great book, but you have added a new element to my exercise program: Lift "THIS MIGHT WORK" above my head 10 times a day!

Wow, the behemoth is truly a beast. It will rival, in content as well as mass, my other big books such as the CRC Handbook and the Big Liddell.

Still waiting here in PIttsburgh... did these ship USPS, UPS, FedEx, or some other method?

    26. Brooke Hall on

Dang! Now I want one. Great work, Seth. It matters.

    27. Steven Raft on

Mine arrived today! Very excitedly unpacked it and showed it off to my wife and 18 year old son who then commandeered it for 45 minutes! Leaving town on business so I won't be able to dig in for a week! Bummer.
