Hey guys!

We hope you've have a great new year (I know, we're a little late on that) we've released a story progress update today that just over doubles the amount of content from the Alpha Demo. Please follow the instructions on our Steam page to update to the latest alpha.

Updated debug logging

Just to get this out of the way from the get-go, we have a new debug logging system that logs a lot more errors to the in-game Development Console. The majority of these messages are harmless so pay no attention to them and simply close the log when this shows up (unless, of course, you run into a bug or crash)

The development console is the thing that looks like this:

 The Broadway

No more barriers! Soramachi Broadway is now open for business, and there's a whole bunch of new thing you can do here (besides the obvious shopping). Your first two days here essentially acts as the tutorial for the area, but more will open up throughout the playthrough (Hint: spend the day with Asuna when she shows up here, it's worth it)

 The water temple

The temple of water has a secret once you get to the top. Without being spoileriffic, once you get to the mid-way part of the temple you'll find a certain "thing" that gives you an idea of where Koe's crystal story is headed. At the top, you'll probably find the very crystal itself!

What? You don't like realxing by the sea? You have to leave the water island at some point, there's a whole new (other) world to explore.

 Update on progress

We're aware the current milestone is a little delayed. Sadly, our language designer's father passed away at new years which meant she moved back to her home city for the month of January. We don't want to go into details out of respect for her and her family, but progress-wise it has meant we have prioritised less language-intensive parts of development for the next two months. It's likely we won't open up the entirity of the world for our March update, but we'll make sure to release another large portion of story progress, as well as the next city and island.

For this release, please feel free to make use of the general feedback thread as well as the bug report thread.

That's all for now, we'll post another update once we finalise this Alpha and release the Mac and Linux builds by the end of the month. Go play!

      ?? It's telling me that the PC Beta access code that I used for V0.2b is invalid for V0.35u?

      Sorry to hear about your designer's father. I hope everyone takes the time they need. This project continues to look fantastic and I am excited to see how it progresses!
