Scorched Kingdoms is a deck building/resource management card game.
Get ready for one of the most brutal war games, as you take the role of a lord, and fight your way through the Scorched Kingdoms. Choose your clan, build the perfect deck, and create a seamless strategy for the ultimate 1-vs-1 battle to rule the nations of Ethalios. Dominate kingdoms, obliterate armies, and claim the throne as all others bow before you.
You will have to learn countless strategies for every situation, and always stay ahead of your opponent. One wrong move can end entire wars.
Each of the 11 Nations are broken up into multiple kingdoms and clans. They will have entirely different armies and strategies for battle, ensuring that two battles are never the same.
HOW WILL YOUR LEGACY BE REMEMBERED?
Scorched Kingdoms is a standalone, tabletop card game for 2 players to battle head to head. It takes advantage of many deck building elements, where you create your clan with different characters, equipment, and environment cards, to strategically defeat the opponent’s clan, and capture their throne.
It also has a resource management system, used to collect the essence of the nation, which creates legendary tiered cards. These can include giant mechanized titans, terrifying abominations, or rulers from other realms.

Thank you to everyone that has supported me to this point. I could not have done it without you guys! This game has my heart and soul in it, and I hope you can see that. It was a long battle and I was not sure if I would ever make it this far, but finally, here are the Scorched Kingdoms.

Currently, I am the only creator and member of the team for the Scorched Kingdoms game; but have been getting a great deal of help from freelance artists and friends to bring the game to life. While it might sound scary that I am the only one here, I want everyone to rest assured that the game is almost completely done already, other than a few tweaks I want to make to perfect the game for everyone. By the end of the Kickstarter I will already be finalizing the game and working on getting everything manufactured for the final shipping process.
I wanted to give a special thanks to William Black and Joemel Requeza. They were the main two artists on this project. William created the Gearton Gnomes and Soulless decks, while Joemel was the creator of the Sorcerers of Singe and Wandering Weeds decks.
Customer-Friendly shipping to: The US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia, and Asia.
Shipping will be calculated at the end of the Kickstarter, through the pledge manager. We are talking to Ship Naked to figure out the best and cheapest way to ship to each location. This will help to get the flattest rate for each country.
Currently shipping estimates are; $12 US/ $16 Other Customer-Friendly Areas (listed above)/ $20-$25 Rest of World.
Shipping rates might also change up to the end of the Kickstarter, depending on what stretch goals are unlocked and what add-ons you decide to purchase.
For these reasons, I don't have definitive shipping costs yet. I am working to get the best estimates for everyone ASAP.
Backers will be responsible for all import fees, VAT, taxes, and other postal fees that might apply. It is important to check your countries regulations on imported goods.
Risks and challenges
The game was almost complete prior to Kickstarter, with only some art to finish. With all of that work already funded, I have been able to remove many of the delays and risks that could come up.
Of course there can always be delays depending on how many copies must be produced, completing all of the stretch goals, and potential different shipping locations. There has been extra time already allotted to account for some of these issues that could arise.
Small changes to art and gameplay are still being made throughout the Kickstarter to bring you the best version of the game possible, and could always add a small delay.
With all of that accounted for, I am still very hopeful to have the copies created and shipping within 4 months of the completion of this campaign.
If any walls are hit throughout the process, I will openly update everyone on Kickstarter as soon as the issue occurs. I want to make sure everyone is fully informed at all times and no one feels like they are clueless on where Scorched Kingdoms is at in the manufacturing process.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
