Thanks to Everybody Who Has Donated So Far
We just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far, so we're doing so with an event tomorrow night (Friday, August 10)! Please send me an email if you'd like to be put on the guest list for this cool night of music and entertainment!
This Friday night, August 10, We Want the Airwaves and Morning Guy Tai host an intimate party to help benefit the movie’s Kickstarter campaign! And have we got a great location for this one! The party will take place at The Bridge, the Cambridge recording facility formerly known as Fort Apache Studios. Here are just a few bands who have recorded at Fort Apache: Big Dipper, Buffalo Tom, Dinosaur Jr., Folk Implosion, Juliana Hatfield, The Lemonheads, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Morphine, Sebadoh, Superchunk, Amanda Palmer, Radiohead, Weezer, and more! Come out and enjoy yourself at one of Boston’s musical landmarks while helping us raise money to finish the WFNX documentary at the same time! Several former WFNX DJs will be on hand, spinning their favorite records, and the attendance will be limited to 101 guests for this special event.
Former WFNX DJs will be spinning, including a special set from Morning Guy Tai!
Our guest MC for the night will be comedian, Elvis Collins!
