The beauty of the Kloudes Topper is that we have perfected the comfort layer. With Kloudes, you’re paying for the only part of the mattress that matters and saving money as a result. Mattress industry titans, we’re sorry if we’ve just rained on your parade (just kidding - no, we’re not).
Since we are the only company to specialize solely in mattress toppers, it’s our #1 priority to make sure Kloudes is the best topper on the market. Our technology guarantees an optimal level of comfort and significantly improves sleep quality. Our dedicated team of developers have spent years of refining and perfecting Kloudes to make sure you sleep on Cloud 9. The Kloudes Topper has a distinct set of features and benefits that set it apart as the preeminent mattress topper.
Kloudes was designed to regulate the topper’s temperature by encouraging the process of convection (heat transfer through air). Can’t remember what you learned in 4th grade science class? Don’t worry, it sounds more complicated than it is. Here’s a little refresher:
The Kloudes Topper features two ventilated layers that work together to form a “convection-cooled” sleep system. The layers are designed to disrupt heat build-up by pulling heat away from the body and dispersing it back into the atmosphere, resulting in a comfy and cool night’s sleep.
Kloudes’ patented Air Foam layer (the bottom layer) is injected with air for a powerful boost in breathability. This increased, less restrictive airflow is vital because, as you sleep, your body expels large amounts of heat that form a thermal layer. When airflow is restricted, heat is trapped which causes uncomfortable and interrupted sleep. Our Air Foam layer prevents this from happening.
The top layer of a mattress is the layer that provides comfort & support. So why do mattress companies create pricey new models when they've merely swapped out and added unnecessary layers?
That's why we're bringing you Kloudes, the first company dedicated to perfecting your existing mattress by selling you the only part of the mattress that matters.
In general, the comfort layer (the upper 3 inches of most mattresses) is the only thing that significantly distinguishes one mattress model from another. Since it’s the comfort layer that ultimately determines how comfortable a mattress will be, construction, composition, and use of high-quality materials are super important. But why spend a fortune on a new mattress when you’re essentially paying for the top 3 inches only?
Kloudes can enhance or restore the comfort level of new and old mattresses alike, whether it’s a worn-out mattress that has flattened out after years of use, a mattress that is too hot or too firm, or a recently purchased mattress that just isn’t quite hitting the spot. In addition, Kloudes extends the life cycle of your current mattress which leads to cost-savings by delaying the need to replace your mattress within the suggested 5-7 years. An appalling 50,000 mattresses are discarded per day!! So, when you extend the life cycle of your mattress, you’re also helping to reduce the burden on the planet.
Not only is tossing out your old mattress bad for the environment, but it’s also a hassle. And, of course, there’s the added hassle of having to go mattress shopping. The only thing more tiring than sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress is shopping for a new one. Sleazy salesmen, sky-high markups, and intentionally confusing model names and numbers are all a part of the process. The mattress buying process is awful by design - mattress retailers rely on consumer confusion and misinformation to overcharge.
Mattress companies use tricky gimmicks and fancy marketing to make basic scientific principles sound cutting edge, or they make up “science” based on biased studies conducted by none other than themselves.
And don’t let flashy online mattress vendors fool you - they’re no different. They’re just your traditional mattress salesmen with a slick makeover. Behind the smoke and mirrors, you’ll find mattress models are more alike than the mattress industry would have us believe. In tests conducted by Consumer Reports, a $5,000 mattress performed about the same as one that cost $540! And then there are the incredibly high markups - one Consumer Report’s assessment of a $3,000 mattress found that it cost about $300 to make (that’s a 900% markup!).
