What's it like to play the game?
We wanted to make a game that was both fun to play AND to watch. It's a bit like playing the bar room game called "Cornhole", but with more dynamic strategies and unexpected results. No two games are the same, and players on the losing end always have an opportunity to win. The Vampires side is best when the Unicorns are weakened (they can sometimes attack repeatedly, so long as they keep hitting). But the Unicorns are stronger in groups (multiple card throws)! A typical game takes about 12-15 minutes, but it varies. People like to switch sides after playing and do a best of 2 out of 3 or have a tournament (sometimes after a few drinks).
Playing the game kinda feels like this:
Some cards instruct you to throw more than one card at once (STAMPEDE!), others allow you to steal cards from an opponent (UNICORN MAGIC!), and others allow you to pick up to three "dead" unicorn cards on your side and throw them back at your opponent! (RAISE THE DEAD!) and more..
Made out of sturdy chip board, different tiles have different properties. Some tiles can be eliminated with one "land", others two, and each side has a home base or castle tile which can only be eliminated with either a very lucky shot, or with one "land", but this can only happen only if all other tiles on its side have been removed!

Risks and challenges
I've been designing/printing books and magazines for many years as well as making toys, so production should go pretty smooth. A great and very experienced game factory has already been lined up! Delays at customs can happen, but we're right near the port, so that helps. Also, the world may run out of trees-don't think that will happen, though. This is my second Kickstarter Project. The first one went very smoothly.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
