Lots of news! CD manufacturing, German television, and Live video

Thank you everybody for your support so far. Can we still get 40 more backers and unlock the "Best of the Tour" Video reward for everyone who has pledged? I think we can - but only if we work to spread the word of this project. Share it with your friends!

The Open Goldberg Variations CD is now being manufactured. It is a double CD set, with artwork and design by Jeffrey A. McGuire (aka "jam"), as well as essays from Kimiko Ishizaka and Andrew Melck. These will be in English and German. Naturally, the dedications from the Open Goldberg backers will be there too. A sample of the design is attached below.

German television: it looks like the Cologne, Germany concert might be part of a feature report on copyright issues in Germany. There will be a film crew there for at least part of the concert to show Kimiko performing Bach. Let's make sure the house is full and tell people about the Well Tempered Clavier tour, starting in Cologne on August 25.

Ann Arbor - live video broadcast: We've entered an agreement with Classical Music Broadcast to record and broadcast the Ann Arbor - Kerrytown Concert House performance. This is great news as the audio recording quality will be fantastic and will make the "Best of the Tour" digital recording even more enjoyable.

Once again, thank you for your support. I look forward to seeing some of you at the live concerts in August and September.

The CD looks great and such good news about the TV coverage during the tour. I can't wait to see you in Rockport on the 22nd September.
