About this project
Backers can add to their pledges after the campaign, and late payments will count toward unlocking the Slimes until Nov 29th.
Just send a Paypal payment to email@example.com and we'll keep track of your total. Be sure to include your KS name and a description of the items you want.
Please note that this Paypal address is different than the address we've used in the past.

Undead Viking Review
Solo Play Unlocked
We've added "Rival" cards to the game for use in Solo Play. Rivals vary in difficulty and players will need to vary their strategies depending on their opponent.
Dice Unlocked During Campaign
Epic Dice TD brings tower defense games to your table top in a competitive, dice-rolling game.
Currently, the game includes 125 dice, cards for each unit type, cards for solo play, 4 cardboard game mats, and a box large enough to store future expansions.
We'll likely still hit a few stretch goals before the end too!
If you just want the short version: I've restructured stretch goals based on backer demand. I'm starting with a solid game, with a higher funding goal. I've cut six months off of delivery time (I explain how in the first link above). I'm including unit cards to serve as reference material and allow for a modular game (like Dominion). Here's what they look like.
Each set of dice will have two possible cards, so no two games will ever be the same. Here's an example of the Goblins and Imps. Both cards work with the green dice, but only one of these minions would be available in a given game.
Stretch goals will focus on getting as much as we can in the base game before we worry about add-ons.
At first, I was unsure of how to relaunch this, because I didn't want to increase the price or the stretch goals levels. But I've had a lot of demand to bring this back, and we have plenty of backers that trust the value and quality of the product they will receive.
If you have any questions, I'll be very active in the comment section.
Players: 1-4 (6 with an add-on)
Game Time: 20-40 minutes
Minions, towers and spells are all represented by dice. Players construct towers and hire waves of minions to send against other players.
Each player receives a game mat to organize towers and minions. Each game mat indicates positions for a lane of towers on the player's left and a lane of towers on the player's right. In the center of the mat are three slots for waves of hired minions.
Each round, player's roll off to determine turn order for the entire round.
The round consists of a Buy Phase and an Attack Phase.
During the Buy Phase, players are allotted five gold. Players may spend gold to construct towers, reroll weak towers, hire groups of minions to form waves, or to cast spells.
During the Attack Phase, each player may send two waves of minions against adjacent players. The entire wave is rolled and minions weaker than the tower are removed. If a minion equals or exceeds the towers strength, the tower is destroyed. Each minion type has a specific ability that activates automatically if that minion's image is rolled on the die. Different minions are useful under different circumstances, and it is up to the player to decide what group will be most effective as an attacking wave.
When a monster makes it past all opposing towers, the die may be rolled once for a chance to score victory points.
The game is over when a player scores a total of 8 victory points.

Here's a video of a 2-player session. This video includes the minions from the Witching Hour expansion.

Every box of EPIC DICE Tower Defense comes with the following (this list is updated as we hit stretch goals):
More and more goodness...
Just add the listed amount to any pledge, and you'll have a chance to list what the money was for in the survey. Dungeon Dice items already have shipping cost included.
(Other Dungeon Dice add-ons are available. Check the add-on section of our most recent project for details and prices)

Risks and challenges
We have an established relationship with the dice manufacturer, and will be using Panda Games, an established board game publisher for the other components. We have produced over 1 million custom dice for backers. Ask them about our quality and customer service!
We now have a reasonable zombie plan in place. In the event of a living dead apocalypse, I will personally spend decades delivering the rewards by pony.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
