Boulder is known for its amazing weather (300 days of sunshine), great food, and craft beer. The Boulder Food Park (BFP) will be the first place in our great city that brings all of these things together.
We are 3 guys from varying back grounds. Our experiences range from the non-profit world to the corporate world.
We had a dream to create a home for local food trucks here in Boulder. As we dreamed, we thought why stop there, let's bring craft beer and music to this venue.
We are in the process of obtaining a 1 acre piece of property just off the east end of Pearl Street, in between 30th and Foothills. Our plan is to turn it into a park where you can visit your favorite local food trucks, grab a great craft beer, and hear some good music.
How, in the most amazing outdoor Colorado city, is there no place completely dedicated to sitting under the trees and enjoying food and drink... We don't know, but we are bringing it to you!
Our beer garden will be made out of repurposed shipping containers. This will stick with our theme being located right next to the railroad tracks. Our shipping container facility will allow us to be open air when the weather permits and closed up and heated for those snowy CO days.
The secret is out about food trucks! They are serving up some of the greatest eats all over the Nation, and Boulder is home to some of the very BEST! The food trucks/carts will have their own section to park where you will be able to choose from a variety of different flavors and styles every day.
If you have eaten at any of the food trucks then you know the amazing quality of the food they are serving. Most are supporting local farmers and providing only the freshest prepared food! Here are a couple of the dishes we have had lately...
There is nothing better than being outside in the CO sunshine eating great food, having a great drink, and listening to great music. For us, having a stage for live music was a must. You will be able to relax under the shade of some old trees while you listen to some tunes.

When Can We Share a Meal?
One of the best things about the BFP is that you won't have to wait long to enjoy it. If everything goes to plan we should be able to begin dishing out great food and drink this Fall for a soft opening and our Grand Opening in the spring!
"I can't believe that nothing like this exists here in Boulder. I can't wait for this to open so I can bring my whole family." - Graham Bailhache BV Builders
"We can't wait to start a partner ship with the Boulder Food Park. The East End of Pearl needs something just like this!" - Upslope Brewing
"It's about time something like the Boulder Food Park became a reality in Boulder. Food truck owners need a place where they know they are wanted and the people of Boulder can find us day in day out." - Tom Warnke The Whisk & Wheel Food Truck
Our story is similar to so many great startups out there. A few friends from Boulder went to a friend's wedding in Sonoma, CA and over a bottle of wine and amazing food, we dreamed up the Boulder Food Park. We immediately knew that this was something we had to do. As soon as we got back to Boulder we started meeting with people to see if they thought this was even possible. We received a resounding YES! At that moment, we knew that we were going to do it and here we are.
Risks and challenges
We are confident that our dream will come to realization. We have put all our chips in and have risked a lot to see the Boulder Food Park become more than a dream. With our individual experience and the money needed to start this, we know we can bring Pearl Street its' best!
With that said there are many factors at play here. There are permits, contractors, business partnerships that are all being fleshed out right now. We would be naive to think that this project will not suffer any setbacks.
That is why we have waited to even start this Kickstarter until this very moment. We wanted make sure that we were confident that your investment in the park would reach its full potential.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
