"Krackades is a unique and exciting new entry in the line of irreverent party games."
- Josh Dillon, co-creator of Cards Against Humanity
What's this game?
Imagine charades knocked up Cards Against Humanity. Nine months later, a krack baby dropped out... introducing Krackades!
Krackades is a wild party game where you compete against the clock and each other to Act, Draw, or Sculpt (playdoh included) the most outrageous and irreverent things imaginable!
Players have 60 seconds to Act, Draw or Sculpt a wild phrase. To win teammates must guess 3 cards in each section before the other team.
However, the opposing team doesn't sit idly by -- they can choose to trip up the other team's success by using special cards called Krack Attacks! The first team to correctly guess enough cards wins.
Force opponents to perform the action with a handicap!
Who's behind this?
Cyrus is a stem cell biologist gone rogue who works in the software industry and enjoys playing and creating games on weekends.
Jeff is a game designer and engineer who likes playing all sorts of games and coming up with new ones.
They've been playing and making games together since they first met as undergrads at Stanford.
What's the processing for acting, drawing, and sculpting?
When acting, you cannot say any words, and must act out the phrase.
For drawing, you draw the phrase without using any letters or symbols.
For sculpting, you have to sculpt the phrase with the provided playdoh.
What are some sample cards?
Glad you asked! Here's some more cards we've designed.
We've spent many months playtesting the game, fine-tuning quality and researching the production costs. Our game has been well received by playtest groups around the San Francisco Bay Area. Help us share this hit with the world by funding it now!
Risks and challenges
The primary risks that are likely to manifest are delays in production. Such delays may result from manufacturing quality, artwork generation, and logistics. We are taking all necessary steps to mitigate the risks associated with the project. Further, we've given ourselves plenty of leeway to complete the product in order to deliver by the holidays.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
