No, we are not affiliated with any existing brands. Evie Blender was started and invented by a makeup artist, Angie Y. Johnson, who formed the beauty tech company Evolution Beauty, LLC in order to bring Evie into the world.
Applying your makeup with the Evie Blender will feel just like skin! The pore texture applies product just like your fingers would, but without fingerprints or streaks. Your makeup will have an airbrush finish.
The Evie Blender has a mix of different skin and pore textures, which gives it it's matte look. These pores are the key to giving your face an airbrush look, as they will hold on to the product and deposit it evenly on your skin. A smooth and shiny silicone product on the other hand, will likely leave a streaky finish.
The great thing about the Evie Blender's shape is that the round side will offer you broad coverage (cheeks, forehead, chin), while the pointed end allows you to get into the tighter areas on your face (eyes, nose etc.)
You can wash in warm soap and water or use a makeup remover wipe. You can also use rubbing alcohol to wipe and then let air dry (soaking it in alcohol will make it degrade). If you need to sanitize it, you can also boil it in water for 5-10 minutes. Legal Disclaimer: please don't leave the boiling Evie Blender unattended and use caution removing your Evie from the pot as it will be very hot and could cause burns. Remove carefully from the water with tongs or a ladle and place on a towel to dry and cool :)
