BECOME A LEGEND – Now you can carry the world’s most legendary swords on your key ring. The Key Armory was created by nerds, whose lives were shaped by swords from fantasy stories and by the heroes who wielded them.
We are extremely excited to announce TEN BRAND NEW designs with our new Kickstarter campaign! This Kickstarter will allow us to mass produce designs inspired by Final Fantasy 7, He-Man, Xenoblade Chronicles, Voltron, Sword Art Online, The Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Harry Potter & God of War! Arm yourself by backing our Kickstarter, and we will send you the blade (or blades) of your choice!
Our campaign launched with the five designs shown above. Throughout the duration of the campaign, we were lucky enough to unlock FIVE MORE DESIGNS that backers helped us vote on! The designs below are now available by backing this Kickstarter campaign, with an expected shipping date of July 2017!
NOTE: The images below are only representative of our additional designs. The final designs will be unveiled through project updates as they are created.
The Blade of Ares will also be available as a combo, featuring 2 Blades and a chain that binds them together. Backers who order 2 Blades of Ares will receive this chain free of charge!
Despite the above Stretch Goal not being reached, we've decided to introduce ONE design in the Yale Y11 key way. The Y11 Hero's Sword can now be pre-ordered by pledging for one key here on Kickstarter. This design will now be available to choose from in our post-kickstarter survey. Additional designs may be available in the future!
Last year during our original Kickstarter campaign, we were able to bring ten designs to our backers. These include the Hero's Sword, the King's Blade, the Kingdom Key, the Halfling's Blade, the Cross-guard Starsaber, the Runeblade of Ner'Zhul, the Eye of Thundara, the Gunblade Revolver, the Royal Shield & the Blade of the Direwolf! All of our original designs are available now at TheKeyArmory.com! These designs can be added to your cart at the END of this campaign!

If your town has a local locksmith, we always recommend taking your keys there! Not only is it awesome to support local businesses, but these locksmiths are always better at cutting keys!

SHIPPING BREAKDOWN:
In our previous Kickstarter campaign, we learned a LOT about shipping! Now, we know first hand the actual costs to shipping our keys. To be clear, we won't be making any money off of shipping - the numbers below are our actual shipping costs!
Within the United States - Shipping throughout the continental United States is $2. However, shipping is FREE if you order 3 or more keys!
Worldwide - Unfortunately, shipping can be expensive. Shipping to Canada, regardless of how many keys you order, is $10. Everywhere else in the world is averaged out to $14.
Our keys are made right here in the USA! Our team has worked tirelessly with our manufacturer to assure each key is detailed and high quality. Our keys are available in two of America's most common key types:
1) The Kwikset KW1
2) The Schlage SC1

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Kwikset KW1 and Schlage SC1 key ways are most popular in North and South America. It is possible that these key ways do not match your locks. Please do your research before backing this project. Backers who ordered without doing proper research will NOT receive refunds.

As kids, we were changed by the stories we played and watched on the big screen! We were inspired by heroes who wielded powerful swords, and strived to be more like them! As adults, we wanted to remember our roots on a daily basis, and our minds turned to keys - something simple that we used literally every day. And The Key Armory was born!
We launched a Kickstarter campaign in December of 2015, raising nearly $52,000 from 1,800 backers. The Kickstarter campaign allowed us to create a solid product that would last for years to come.
Our keys are manufactured in the USA and shipped to you directly from our team here in Salt Lake City. We strive to always provide both a quality product and customer service to assure that you're always getting the absolute best! Learn more about us below:
What if I move?
We get it - once you move, your key will be completely useless (unless whoever moves in after you wants a dope key, as well). Moving can be a pain, so to make things a bit easier, we offer all of our previous customers 10% off their next order! When the times comes, simply fill out a form on our website and sit tight until we can get you a unique checkout code!
What if my key is cut incorrectly?
Unfortunately, keys are cut incorrectly from time to time. Luckily, our customer service is "top-notch" (get it???) and we'll help you take care of it quickly and efficiently! If your key was cut incorrectly, we'll send you a new key free of charge (and we actually mean it - many of our testimonials, found here, reference this)!
The ONLY exception to the above rule is if you tried cutting a key to fit a lock that is different from our key ways. We've provided a chart above to help you determine which key way you need, and it is your responsibility to determine whether your key is compatible or not!
What if my key doesn't fit my lock?
What happens if you receive one of our keys and find out it doesn't actually fit your lock? This normally happens because customers don't know which key way they need!
We've provided a detailed chart above (found under the "About the Keys" section, or check out a more detailed guide here) to help you determine whether your current key is compatible with our key ways (Kwikset or Schlage). If you simply order blindly and the key is incompatible, then we aren't responsible for replacing the key or providing a refund.
This is ESPECIALLY relevant to backers outside of the United States. While Kwikset and Schlage are used worldwide, they are less common outside of North & South America. It is the responsibility of our backers to determine whether their key is compatible with our key ways or not.
With that said, we are more than happy to arrange an exchange if you discover you actually need the opposite key way, so long as you are willing to pay the shipping costs!

While there are always risks to starting a new project, our team has done all we can do to assure each and every key that is ordered here on Kickstarter is fulfilled in a timely manner! Fortunately, we've also fulfilled all previous Kickstarter projects in the past, so you can rest assured that we will do our best to be open, honest and reliable!
