OUR PROJECT

 

Our project is the Scööb - the foldable stand for mobile electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, electronic readers, ect. 

 

Scööb is suitable for any brand of tablets and smart phones. 

 

 

 

 

The biggest advantage of our stand is its small footprint, functionality and low cost. Scööb is made out of a thin 0.5 mm polypropylene plastic sheet, and unfolded, can fit in any tablet sleeve, back pocket, or in a regular mail envelope.

 

 

 

 In no time  Scööb can be converted to a sturdy stand for your device

Scööb can be folded for different angles.The 60 deg. position Fig.1 is for hands free reading and 40 deg. Fig.2 for typing.

 

Because Scööb is made from polypropylene plastic - it can be folded thousands of times and will not break.

 This is our family project. A father + daughters collaboration. I am (Jaroslav) responsible for the idea and design. My daughter, Uli, did the technical stuff and Olivia orchestrated the presentation.

Help kids in Africa to get better education.

Dear Friends,

We want to turn our campaign into the worldwide social project. To raise the money for production using crowdfunding on Kickstarter from around the world and in return to donate 250 stands to the school in Kenya.

For this we created a new Reward:

One (1) Scööb in any of the designs offered (you will be asked before we ship) + we will donate One (1) Scööb in plain frosted white plastic color to the school in Kenya.

Embakasi Garrison Primary School in Nairobi, at the launch of the ‘Power of mLearning in Kenya’ pilot project, recently got a donation of 250 tablets to Standard 7 and 8 pupils. if the pilot project goes well, it expected to be rolled out countrywide to cover other public primary schools in Kenya.
