Bigger. Better. Bolder. Say hello to KRAPBOX. This is the new and improved cat litter box - and it will be the only one you'll ever need.
For the longest time, cat litter boxes have been static, with no sign of innovation or change. With KRAPBOX, we challenge the status quo.
We wanted to create a litter box that is easy to clean as it is easy to use - with no other parts needed, period. No scoops. No spill guards. No additional pans or parts that still needed to be cleaned.
Our mission was to make our litter box a seamless poop cleaning experience. And most importantly, we wanted it to be user and cat friendly. Throughout our journey to make this litter box, we reviewed dozens of cat litter boxes, new and old, taking note of their advantages and annoyances in our product development. We arrived at a product that stays true to "self-cleaning".
KRAPBOX features three identical trays, each with a slotted design. Stack any two trays together, and they form a spill-proof base. With the third tray, it becomes a perpetual cleaning system.
STEP 1: LIFTWith all three trays stacked, gently lift the first tray.
STEP 2: SIFT
Gently shake tray from side to side and watch as the poop is separated from the clean litter.
STEP 3: TOSS
Throw away the poop. :)
STEP 4: TURNTurn the tray 180 degrees and place it at the bottom of the two trays. You know the bottom tray is turned correctly when it matches the same orientation as the top tray in the stack.
KRAPBOX takes seconds to clean. No mess and you minimize wasting any clean litter. Simply add more litter from time to time.
Say good-bye to those umbilical cord-like spoon and those tent-like apparatuses. There are just better ways to clean poop.

We designed the KRAPBOX to be big enough to be suitable for both small and big cats. The sides are just deep enough for cats to get in and out without knocking the tray over. Our Stack Tab System ensures KRAPBOX stays stacked and prevents any accidental spillage or seepage.
It was at the forefront of our thoughts to design a litter box that was simple to use. We did not want a clutter of parts like scoops, redundant pans or spill-guard gizmos that required additional cleaning. We wanted to stay dedicated to the "self-cleaning" litter box concept.
Something as mundane as cleaning poop should not be made even more unpleasant.
Our goal was to create a smooth, hassle-free experience. KRAPBOX was designed with three principles in mind: Bigger, Better, Bolder.

- Bolder design that takes the litter box to another level of performance and functionality.
We researched the market, reviewed dozens of litter boxes, yet nothing was ideal. These are necessary household items, but frankly, there are not many options.
We read litter box reviews and insights, so we could channel critiques and suggestions into the very core of our product development and arrive at a product that was consumer friendly; a litter box that was as easy to clean as it was simple to use. And KRAPBOX was made.

Risks and challenges
We may not be Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg, but we are group of dedicated and hardworking individuals, and we all know what it's like to start a business from scratch - difficult and challenging.
We know that one of the most important processes of a business is execution. And to execute properly, we need to plan effectively while anticipating possible risks.
To mitigate our risks, we first did market and consumer research to arrive at a product idea. We then created a 1:4 scale prototype to test its function and solicit further feedback from cat owners at cat cafes and events. Modifications and revisions were made to improve functionality and performance based on consumer insights.
We then procured manufacturers and quality materials to create a product of the highest standard. Team members Jack and Daniel personally oversee quality assurance at the factory in China and will continue to do so as KRAPBOX grows.
We perfected the design by creating a 1:1 scale prototype which lets us get a close estimate of production costs, and more importantly shipping logistics.
This allows us to avoid potential issues like shipping delays or product defects that can complicate the smooth launch of KRAPBOX.
We really want to get a working product in your hand as soon as possible. This is why production begins immediately upon funding.

KRAPBOX should only be used with clumping cat litter. Pellet or Pine brands are not compatible with our design.

Unfortunately not, given the size of our product, shipping individual units worldwide is costly. In the future, we hope we can find a cost effective solution so.
