Sea of War is a tactical naval warfare card game, based in the age of the wooden battleships, that you can take anywhere and play with anyone!
Each game is made for 2-4 players, but you can combine game sets and expand play space to add in as many players as you like.
The object of the game is simple... Destroy all of your enemies ships before they destroy yours! Be the victor by rolling attack dice against their ships and hope they don't succeed on their rolls to defend.
Sea of War is a turn based game. Each turn you will roll a die to see how many of your ships (cards) will move . Will you get to move your entire fleet? Or will you hit the Doldrums and just twiddle your thumbs?
Once your ships have moved into firing range of an enemy ship, you can send a cannonball volley over to the enemy ships! Roll to attack!
It is that simple. Well... So it seems.
The game includes rules for beginner, intermediate, and advanced play, so your game can be changed to fit your desires!
The beginner rules are great for those new to tactical style games. This rule set allows for approachable, exciting, and challenging strategy based play!
Those more familiar with Tactical warfare games will enjoy the intermediate and advanced rules. These rules allow you to make the game a little more difficult, testing the strategy skills of your friends and yourself! Will you use tactical ramming to cause more damage before you give the full broadside? Or will you use a hit and run tactic with your small, fast ships?
Finally, the versatile campaign options let you have a fleet you can boast over…! Until they are sent to Davy Jones’ Locker, that is!
But, don't just trust us. Hear what some of reviews/previews have to say.
Why did I make Sea of War?
I, and many of you watching, love strategy war games! We would be perfectly happy spending an entire day playing a captivating tactical game! But the downside is that many of our friends are hesitant to try out tactical style games as they can be very long to play and have complicated rules that take too much time to explain.
After being frustrated on game nights one too many times, I decided that enough was enough... Why couldn't tactical games be fun, approachable, portable and fast? So I created Sea of War!! It can be played in as little as 30-45 minutes. It will allow anyone, from beginner to advanced players, to easily understand tactical style games and be able to play together seamlessly. And finally, Sea of War is so portable you can toss it in a pocket or small bag and play on almost any table anywhere!
Most of you here will already know my passion for board games and the Geek community! I have created and run a successful brick and mortar tabletop tea lounge and also a tabletop viking mead hall for several years now. With this next logical step of game creation and production, I plan on launching into the broader world of tabletop games themselves! I intend to create and produce games that can be picked up and played by anyone, but are also geared toward the lifelong tabletop player! If I get your support, Sea of War will be just the first of those games.
I have been in this industry a long time and with the connections I have, the delivery of the game has already been planned and is currently moving forward. With your help to fund Sea of War, I can finally leave the port and launch out to Sea! Only a little boost is needed and this game will be on shelves, at conventions, and even in stores near you.

Risks and challenges
There are always potential shipping delays as well as production delays, but again, we have tried to circumvent any issues that may arise.
We have been proactive with our manufacturing and have already worked with these companies. They are ready to pull the trigger on production as soon as we give the word. They have always been reliable and we do not see this changing anytime soon.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
