We are out to make an EP full of original vocal music, written organically and collaboratively by the members of the group.
The three of us that would go on to form The Executive Board started out by recording a vocal cover of Jonathan Coulton's Want You Gone in Jeston's tiny apartment in July of 2011, with naught but a single microphone and a copy of Logic Pro. After releasing that very track on iTunes through A Cappella Records, gaining a vocal percussionist, and brainstorming for months, The Executive Board has found its groove. We're ready to groove with you.
The Executive Board has set a goal - to record a five-song EP of original vocal music. That goal is nearly complete. With the help of our friends at Sled Dog Studios in Rochester, New York; we've already started putting this project together. Now, we hope to raise $3,000 in the next month so we can fund the final steps of this project. We want to take our music to the next level, and we want to bring the entire vocal music genre with us.
With your help and donation, we will be able to take our music and equipment on tour this summer. A big part of this project is bringing our original music to life. The money we raise through this Kickstarter will help us reach our goal of completing this EP and bringing it to you this summer.
And with each dollar you donate, you are eligible for a special treat from us as a thank you for your help. Check out our website for more information.
Thank you so much!
Jeston, Mike, Rachel and Randy
