From the makers of the infamous alcoholic lollipop comes Holly's Lollies latest product. Boozy Candy Canes!
We have been making booze infused lollipops for nearly 4 years, and ever since we started we have wanted to make delicious candy canes to go alongside our collection of unique lollipops.
This year, the stars aligned and our opportunity arose to make our dream product. A dream product that we want to share with you.
Back our Kickstarter to be one of the first in the world to try our boozy candy canes!
We have carefully chosen 7 delicious flavours of candy cane to offer you this year
Gin and Elderflower: A classic. The first flavour we made in our lollipops all those years ago, and still a firm favourite.
Raspberry Prosecco: A best seller. We have sold tens of thousands of jars of Raspberry Prosecco humbugs. They are the perfect pretty in pink gift.
Sloe Gin: A festive favourite. Gin with a twist. A deep and delicious flavour makes this candy cane something really special.
Peppermint Schnapps: A twist on tradition. Forget your standard peppermint candy canes, these pack a punch. Perfect in hot chocolate.
Cherry Amaretto: A boozy bakewell tart. As soon as we tasted a sample we knew we had to make these beauties.
Mulled Wine: An obvious choice. How could we not make this festive favourite? Perfect dipped into a warm glass of mulled wine on a cold winter evening.
Unicorn: A non alcoholic option. A beautiful pastel coloured candy cane that tastes like cotton candy. Or a unicorn on a cloud.
We will email at the end of the campaign with a survey to get your address and choices of candy canes for sending.
We have a range of rewards to suit all budgets, all including our delicious candy canes. Check them out below. Psssst, if you got here early enough you can take advantage of our early bird offers!
The BIG £1000 Reward
Our £1000 reward is really special. YOU can create 1000 candy canes of your own design. You chose the flavouring, alcohol and colours and we will ship them to you before Christmas 2019.
How alcoholic are they?
As with all of our products we do not require a license for them as the alcohol content is under 1%. We use quality real alcohol and delicious flavourings to make our products.
Why has is taken so long to make a boozy candy cane?
Our boozy lollipops took the internet by storm and we could barely keep up, we closed early in Christmas 2016 and 2017 to make sure we could fulfil all our orders and not let anyone down. We know these candy canes will be popular and so we have waited until we have a firm production technique in place. Partnering with another producer has allowed us to perfect our technique and efficiency without losing our quality.
We started our business on Kickstarter in 2015. It seemed like the perfect place to expand. Our production technique requires high quantities of products to be made, machinery investment and testing. This new product also requires new packaging, design work, photography and marketing. The funds we raise from this Kickstarter will help us with our first production run and to develop this fantastic product further.
How Many Canes Are In a Box?
Each box has 5 large 28g candy canes in it. 'Regular' candy canes are 14g, so these really make an impact.
Is there a non alcoholic option?
Yes! Our 'Unicorn' candy canes are candy floss flavoured and perfect for little fingers and pastel lovers alike
Do they have a long shelf life?
Yes! As the main ingredient is sugar, their 'Best Before' date 18 months! They could last you until Christmas 2020!
Is it really free shipping to the UK!?
YES! Nobody wants to be hit with an unexpected postage charge! We have included some of the shipping cost in the price you pay and taken some if the hit ourselves. That's why it may look a little pricey for a box of candy canes, but we have to get them to you too!
Do you ship overseas?
Absolutely. We have customers all over the world. Since the candy canes come in boxes the shipping can be a little high, but we have taken the hit on some of the costs so customers in the USA, European Union, Australia and NZ and lots of other areas will pay as little as possible for postage.

Risks and challenges
As with any new products there are always risks with delay in production.
Being a seasonal product we know that we need to deliver on time and so we have set a delivery date of September to give us some breathing room.
If we have them done earlier, they will be with you earlier :)Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
