"Don't Wake Theodore Hall" is a film about the fear of the dark side of faith. When the Hall family is plagued by constant night disturbances from their son Theodore, they turn to their local priest – Father Ambrose – for answers. In 1890, there was no research done on night terrors, so there was little explanation apart from assuming Theodore to be possessed. The family tries to remedy this, but in the end is unsuccessful. This film is about the perceived horror of night terrors in a time when they were unknown.
We plan to film in late March. We want to film inside the historic Comstock House in Moorhead, MN, but to do so we need funding. We also need to rent costumes and props. Most importantly, we need to feed the cast and crew. They are putting in valuable time and hard work, and at this level, the best we can hope to do is feed them well, to keep them happy and hardworking.
We need your support to make this project, and we appreciate your interest.
