Venkat and I are working to get this product back up and running. Since this project ended, we have been busy exploring and evaluating different machine shops to get our product made cheaper without sacrificing quality, so that we can reduce our funding goal. We're hoping to repost this project soon. We'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for inquiring!

Hello Marc,
The magnets are neodymium magnets that are diametrically magnetized where north and south are split in half instead of axially magnetized which have the north and south on the top and bottom. Thanks for checking our project out and giving us feedback.
