Neuro York, A.D. 2088. Zell was once an idealistic nanotechnologist at the megacorporation Common Cybernetics Concern. That is, until she uncovered CCC’s less-than-noble plans for her latest research. Deciding it was time for a career change, Zell torched her lab, stole an experimental battle suit, and now lives as a hacker who fights cyber gangs. Her apartment is a mess.
When a shocking piece of data drops into her lap, Zell finds out that the past she left behind has resurfaced. Now on the run with a target on her back, Zell has a whole lot of questions--and the answers are going to change everything.
Drawing influence from classic work like Blade Runner, Kamen Rider, Bubblegum Crisis, and the novels of William Gibson, Battle Arc 2088 is a sci-fi action story about creation and fighting for a world that has changed without you even knowing.
Battle Arc 2088 is a one-shot comic book--40 pages in full color--that tells a complete story. The goal of this Kickstarter is to fund a print run to sell at cons AND to get the book directly into the hands of our backers.

Risks and challenges
The comic is completely written and drawn and only needs a few final lettering tweaks to make it look its best. Once funded, the only issue will be time and effort, as we’ll be stuffing envelopes and hand-writing thank-yous. Our limited drawing/feedback reward tiers will take some time, as Brett will be drawing and Danny will be reading and commenting on a bunch of scripts. Outside of that, we don’t anticipate much other delay.
This is our first Kickstarter so we’re both new to the process, but we’re starting out modest and low-risk so that we don’t get overwhelmed and you don’t have to wait eight months because you helped fund a comic that somehow got stretch-goal’d into a fully immersive VR experience.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
