THE PROOF IS IN THE SPECS
Smartphone cameras do not perform well in low light.
Imagine the camera sensor on your phone is like your eye. It has a limited range of light it can see. Just like your eye, the sensor strains itself to see in dark settings. When the sensor strains itself, it creates a lot of digital noise and grain resulting in a low quality image.
The ISO setting is the camera's sensitivity to light. Without getting too technical, all you need to know is the higher the ISO, the more digital noise and grain you get in the photo.
NOT ALL LIGHT IS CREATED EQUAL
You've been selling yourself short.
Most of the lights that illuminate your face have a low CRI (color rendering index). CRI measures how accurate light is in portraying colors in a picture. We are using industry leading LEDs with a CRI rating of 95.
litcase easily outperforms the iPhone 6s screen flash. Not only is the light brighter, resulting in a better quality image, but the high CRI LEDs bring out all the colors beautifully. The iPhone 6s screen flash looks grey and dull while litcase gives a warm and flattering light.
The colors in low CRI light almost blend together, while litcase's high CRI LEDs show each color in their full glory. Reds looks red. Greens look green.
Our LEDs are color balanced to 3200 Kelvin which matches most of the lighting at bars, on the street, or in your home.

EASY TO USE
We designed the touch dimmer to rest where your thumb would be naturally. Sliding your thumb up and down to get to the perfect exposure is easy.
The flash on the iPhone is terrible at taking food pics for a few reasons:
- The flash is too harsh and not dimmable at all.
- Drowns out the colors of the food.
- Blows out the image. For example, this burger is is too bright while the background is too dark.
