We believe dancers are not only artists, but are among the world’s greatest athletes, deserving of the same recognition as America’s favorite ballplayers.
Working with a sports-minded production crew, our BaseBallet Team offers a unique perspective that will resonate with the athletic mindset greater than any previous dance feature.
With the combined talents of today’s top choreographers, dancers, and sportscasters, “BaseBallet 2: Into the Game” will change the way sports fans look at dance.
The First “BaseBallet”
Our original feature, BaseBallet, was “the first in a series of documentary shorts that visualizes a unique relationship between athletes from two disciplines that on the surface -- seem very different.”
BaseBallet has been awarded the Northern California Regional Emmy Award for “Best Arts/Entertainment-Feature/Segment” (2016)
BaseBallet is currently featured in “The Dancing Athlete Exhibit” at the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame (April 23, 2016-April 23, 2017)

The performances will be narrated through commentary from award winning sportscasters Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper ("Kruk & Kuip"), and will air on Comcast Sports Network Bay Area, home of the SF Giants and the Golden State Warriors.
What We Need & What You Get
Our first feature, BaseBallet, was a passion project. We were fortunate to work with an amazing production team from CSN Bay Area who generously donated their time, resources, and expertise to help us realize our vision. We became a BaseBallet family and that experience will stay fondly in our memories.
With our new feature, BaseBallet 2: Into the Game, we hope to grow our family. We are bringing in more dancers, a larger production team, and we invite you to share in this experience with us.
Your donations go directly to supporting our collaborators - the dancers, choreographers, sportscasters, camera crew, editors, designers, directors, producers - who are bringing this feature to life.
In return, we are offering unique experiences that you will never forget:
• Attend a private rehearsal where you get an exclusive sneak-peek at the creation process with our dancing athletes.
• Go behind the scenes with your invitation to attend the filming at AT&T Park
• Join choreographers Weston Krukow and Ben Needham-Wood as they treat you and a friend to dinner at one of their favorite San Francisco restaurants
• The Ultimate SF Giants Package - 4 Tickets to a San Francisco Giants home game and a private tour to AT&T Park's broadcast booth where you will meet Mike Krukow.
We can't wait to share the amazing athleticism of these artists with you!
The response to BaseBallet exceeded our expectations...
On April 23, 2016, the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame included BaseBallet in their newest exhibit, "The Dancing Athlete"
Then, on June 4, 2016, BaseBallet was awarded the Northern California Regional Emmy Award for "Best Arts/Entertainment-Feature/Segment"
We can change the way people watch dance. We can promote the athleticism of this beautiful art. We can inspire new audiences to engage with something they've never experienced before.
