BronyCon is only one week away!

Update time again. The team is hard at work. We have 6 camera crews with a total of over 30 crew members lined up to cover the convention. This week we started filming the back-stories of Bronies from across the world and we are excited about what is being captured.

A few things of note:

The BronCon documentary would like to invite all current and former military Servicemembers to a lunch on us. The lunch will be filmed for a segment that will appear in the documentary.

Sunday, July 1st
Cheeseburger In Paradise (next to the convention center)
700 Plaza Drive
Secaucus, NJ 07094

Space is limited, you must RSVP in advance to and you must show military ID for admission.

We have posted a draft of the credits. It’s located here:

Notice something wrong with your credit or want to change it? Just send us a message.

Is your credit missing? We’ve sent out half a dozen messages asking people to fill out the reward survey. There are still 207 people who have not responded. Please log into Kickstarter and fill out the survey, check your email or send us a message.

We have finished casting for the featured Bronies. We will put out another casting call should we need more people.

As you may know, we continue to accept pledges at Many have asked about the cutoff deadline.

All pledges above $250 have already been cut off unless you contact us to make special arrangements.

The deadline for pledges that include a credit is Thursday, June 28th. After that time, you can still pledge, but won’t get a credit.

The deadline for pledges that include a t-shirt is July 21st. After that time, you can still pledge, but won’t get a t-shirt.

The limited edition 8" x 10" art print is ready. If you pledged more than $150 and want to pick it up in person, stay tuned for news how when and where to do so. For those that are not attending or don’t pick it up, sorry but you will have to wait until it is shipped with the Blu ray discs and t-shirt in a few months.

      @Michael Brockhoff

      Brilliant, thank you. :)

Just to clarify, at a big entertainment convention for all things comics and movies you might have say 1 in 100 people recognize a comic writer being interviewed, at bronycon you might have say 1 in 10 recognize one of the voice actors or writers being interviewed, thus a larger crowd could form to watch on average.

The scope of this project continues to impress. Hopefully some of the film crews are sneaky enough to get good footage without being bugged by fans constantly:) Though i'm sure most fans are respectful. I saw lots of interviews of famous writers/artists go smoothly at c2e2 this year, though the more concentrated fan group and more attention being given to it might sway the results a bit.

      Lookin' good! :) I'm excited.

Haha wow, you should probably double or triple up the "THANKS" section or the credits are going to be as long as the documentary itself.

See you at the military lunch.
