Want to see the unreleased tapes?

First, we apologize, this communication is long overdue. We thank you for patiently waiting for the “Unreleased Tapes” aka “Bronies 2.” Our plan was to finish all the segments and then release them in a nice big bundle. Unfortunately, that task has proved daunting due to the time intensive care each segment has required and our limited resources.

We don’t want to delay any longer, so we we’ve decided to start releasing a segment each week starting today. After they have all been released, we will ship the DVD’s and other merch backers are entitled to receive.

First up is the story of John Joseco. Explore the history behind one of the most prolific artists to contribute to the Brony fandom, and see how his military family heritage and his father's legacy have influenced his art.

The segment is released on our YouTube Channel here:

Enjoy and we’ll see you next week with a new segment.

Best, Michael Brockhoff and the BronyDoc team.

Bronies Documentary to Appear on US Television!

We have some really big news to announce regarding the Bronies documentary. The US television rights have been acquired and a "cut for television" version of the film will be running on cable and streaming online for free this fall.

The US Cable channel Logo has acquired rights to run the program as part of their documentary series "WHAT!?"

Although Logo started as a network focusing on a gay audience, it has evolved into inclusive programing that also attracts a straight audience that wants to be ahead of the curve. The Brony message of love and tolerance is particularly in tune with this audience and we are excited to be working with Logo to allow the public a chance to see the film.

We are still working on the new "Bronies - The Unreleased Tapes" project to cut together and release segments not included in the original film. There are 16 days left for the fundraising. If you want to check it out go to:

DVD and Blu-Ray disc copies of the feature length documentary and extended interviews are available at and on

For those of you who are waiting, we expect the feature length documentary to be on iTunes and Amazon Instant Video for purchase and rental in the next month.
