About this project

This project will help send 14 students and two teachers/directors to the American High School Theater Festival, which is part of the Edinburgh Fringe.  This is the world's premier arts festival and it is a huge honor to be chosen as a participant.  The cost for the entire project will be covered by the students, their families and the money they raise.  This is a two week trip to Scotland and includes the cost of airfare, lodging, meals, as well as all theatre expenses.  We will be working all summer to prepare our performance, plan our marketing, design costumes and sets that can travel easily.  These students will be ambassadors of San Domenico and the United States, performing on a world stage.  To learn more about the American High School Theatre Festival, please see the AHSTF.com web site for further information.   It is a very exciting project and we appreciate your support to help make this wonderful project a success!

Risks and challenges

San Domenico High School Theatre Arts department has been given permission to perform "Agronautika" and we have 14 committed young women along with two teachers who will chaperone and direct our performance at The Fringe Festival! We will work hard to spread the word, be prepared, arrive safely in Scotland and build an audience. We do not foresee any obstacles, but even if something were to arise our motto is "The Show Must Go On!"
