We are bringing quality men's accessories back to the USA: Our goal is to take our line of neckwear and leather goods - all handmade right here in the USA - to market in New York this summer (July 2013). We're tired of luxury goods being made overseas at sky-high prices so we're working to revamp our line, offer more products, and keep it made here in the USA. We want to offer men all the accessories they need with American craftsmanship that will last a lifetime. Our biggest goal is to have all of our new leather products made in time to show buyers. We're starting now, and we're excited to bring our next collection to life!
History: My family has three generations of American tailoring to the name. My great grandfather and grandfather both worked as master tailors in Wichita, KS, and my dad has owned his own boutique, salon, and custom mascot company.
I started Hitsman in late 2009 as a personal project to create the perfect holiday necktie. Work began in my garage, and I created my own pattern for the perfect shape and width. From the beginning, I have worked strictly with craftsmen in the USA. Building a brand of products made in the USA has been important because I value the level of craftsmanship that many people still pride themselves on here in the states.
Progress: After more than two years of hard work, the idea has grown, and we have been able to create a versatile line of ties that are sold by great stores in multiple states. Hitsman ties have been featured by GQ magazine, the GQ Eye, Valet, Image Granted, and others.
The Difference: In designing my own American-made neckwear, two things became extremely important: quality and a unique touch. All our neckwear is hand-crafted in New York City by some of the industry's best craftsmen.
Hitsman is focused on bringing classic and timeless design into modern silhouettes to create the perfect neckwear with the highest level of craftsmanship. In order to provide a unique touch, our neckwear has bold tipping fabrics and is crafted with a modern silhouette. We have a wide range of fabric designs using English silk, premium wools or cottons, chambray denim, and more.
Words from the press:
GQ: (in reference to the bow tie above) "Crafted from thick wool outerwear fabric, and handmade in New York City, this thing is life half Bunyan, half Bond, and all bad-ass."
Bearings Guide: "100% handmade in the U.S.A., Hitsman takes craft and location personally."
Sweet Peach: "Trendy is not what you'll find in his collections. What you will find, however, are classic, timeless ties that can be passed on, generation to generation."

Below you'll find some clarity on our goal and how you can help!
Goal: Finalize our collection of neckwear and leather accessories that can be shown at the 2013 menswear market in New York and carried in the top stores around the nation. We are aiming to support American manufacturers by having all products hand-crafted in the United States.
How your pledges will help us: Any amount you pledge will go towards helping us take our designs to market. Going to market requires a lengthy trip, a booth, sales materials, design samples, and more. Booths can cost up to $6,500 each. We continue to have great responses on our product and we're looking to set up a premium experience for buyers.
We've already finished most of the designs and purchased much of the fabric. Now we're looking to move pieces into production and put the final project together for market.
Pledge amounts vary: By pledging, you can own your own Hitsman tie, bow tie, and more. We will also be giving all of our supporters an inside look at new products, the collection we take to market, and first dibs when we start making custom products.
